When's the new Arpanet out? Are we waiting for this Analord
thing to get out of the way before any other products?

Why do i have 12 sleeves in my analord binder?

When analord 10 is 'released in a more regular format' will
there be a reason for me to buy it again (ie new tracks)?

-or-

Is that (release of the regular verion of 10)what the extra
page is for?
-----------------------------------------------------------
----------
Will there be more analords past 11? If so how many can we
expect?
-----------------------------------------------------------
----------
When does the new DMX krew /Collapse of the wave function
come out?
-----------------------------------------------------------
----------
Any new stuff from astrobotnia/ovuca/aleksi or whatever new
alias he's working under?
-----------------------------------------------------------
----------
How's bogdan doing?
-----------------------------------------------------------
----------
Richard, can i sell the straind of red hair that came stuck
between the pages of my analord binder on ebay? or at least
use it to create a clone of you so i can have new music by
you 24/7? i've been thinking about it for awhile now, i
just wanted to check with you first
-----------------------------------------------------------
----------
there are always more quetions than answers but thats all
that i have for the moment.

thanks,

Somebody who Supports the entertainment they love by
purchasing a new, original edition(s).

I remember Phobiazero saying rephlex had not responded to
any of his emails after JAroen posted that link to the
analord tracks.

does anyone remember when jaroen saved the random track
samples from bleep of the ultravisitor CD, and made whole
tracks out of them, and posted them on here ? I don't think
phob was real happy about that one, either...

it's baffling to me how little respect they seem to have for

what about all those $70 records (that's one EP-length
record for $70) they shipped without packing them at
all
? the extremely expensive records everyone bought on
faith from the label and they didn't even bother
bubble-wrapping? and then they didn't send replacements for
their mistake? why didn't they bend over backward to
accomodate those customers and gladly send replacement
sleeves? that's a scam.

then they diss phobia for months? no replies to the guy who
is probably their biggest fan and gets them all this free
publicity for their records? that just goes beyond a label
being busy - they're acting like assholes.

you have a point, i didnt know they have acting that way for
months, thought it was less than that

as for the shipping problems, i see that as a mistake that a
business made, and if they are wanting more business, that
they somehow validate it with their customers

"as for the shipping problems, i see that as a mistake that
a
business made, and if they are wanting more business, that
they somehow validate it with their customers "

yeah, i agree. but they've been acting awfully ridiculous
about it. i remember there was something about them
"considering" whether they would send replacement sleeves.
it seems like they know they can get away with this stuff
and no one can do anything about it. i'll wager any other
label would've immediately went, "our bad - we didn't pack
it properly, everyone who recieved these broken items,
please accept our replacements and apologies for the
inconvenience and we're sending them at cost to us..."

god damn... listen to you man... you are bitching for a
plastic sleeve that cost less than a fucking euro! it's not
like your analord 10 broke in two

if they are assholes for that okay then you are one too,
and may i recall to you that if you found it that expensive
there was no reason to buy it, i don't think you have been
had if it sells up to 400-500 $ now...

everybody talks about respect from the rephlex crew, but i
rarely see TRUE respect coming from here towards them, when
people here are happy they lick their ass to death and when
there's the slightest thing going wrong they are insulted...
kind of weird to me, asking for respect when you don't give
it at all...

well, i guess i take it too personaly, but i put myself in
their position, it's really hard work you know and it's not
because afx sells records that the label magically runs on
its own for no costs, particularly now that he seems to
sells things with not much promotion so it might not be the
best-selling things he's done (analord).
so please don't jump to conclusion without knowing what is
really happening... i'm not insulting Grant because he
didn't showed up friday night at a party i paid in part to
hear him deejay because i don't know what the fuck made him
not come.

peace

Had there been replacement pockets available for under a
Euro, I'd be happy to buy one. But the fact still remains.
Rephlex did a bad job packing the binders, and a large
percentage got slight damages in transit. It's not about
respect, when you pay 40 pounds for an (collectors) item,
you expect it to be well taken care of.

i understand
i 100% agree they fucked-up on that one...

but i feel people tend to overreact and throw all sorts of
complaints and start attacking them personaly without
having a clue what's really going on

maybe they really don't give a fuck and then they may be
assholes
but maybe we'll have news about it soon, they always been
slow so i'm not surprised we haven't got any updates yet

besides, it's just music, there are many issues that may be
more important to them (and to us) sometimes...

I look forward to the day they're bought up some huge
corporate label and then all the great back catalogue will
be re-releasd in nice new packaging.

"if they are assholes for that okay then you are one too, "

first of all, i didn't buy analord. i didn't buy any of
those records because it was too damn expensive and i
couldn't afford it. and i didn't download/steal them,
either. so there goes that theory. if i had bought a
record from them and it came in the same awful condition
i've seen photos of, i would demand a replacement/refund
right away. shelling out $70 for a few songs and then it's
mangled because of their rush job? unacceptable.

"i'm not insulting Grant because he didn't showed up friday
night at a party i paid in part to hear him deejay because i
don't know what the fuck made him not come. "

actually, that's just exactly my point! you should be a bit
upset about that. i would be disappointed if that was the
case...

yes, everyone has personal problems. if they're
collectively having meltdowns, it would explain the
apathetic behaviour, but it still wouldn't be an excuse.
they're not our personal friends, it's a business
transaction with them. it's just business and they're doing
a lousy job.

i'd rather get records like analords from a silent label
like rephlex than brutal shit like most emi/universal/sony
with huge press/communication, bullshit,etc...

rephlex sells records not press/communication/bullshits..
