I have something like 200 albums on my Ipod, I've not listened to. A lot of old IDM and electro stuff. I bet there is a lot of goodies waiting for me. I'm gonna start listening to them A-Z, now. How long do you think this will take?

I have mine on random 90% of the time. It's a lot better that way. Just transfer all the stuff you've never listened to on to your iPod and then you'll have a lovely random time of music you've never heard.
The other day I only had the Gescom minidisc on there. That was strange.

I could be boring and say: start iTunes, create smart playlist (playcount is 0) and see how many hours worth of tunes that brings. But I won't.
I think 301hrs worth is what you got to look forward(?) to.

I use mp3 cd's, but they always are filled with stuff I actually like.
otherwise I'll just be jamming that 'next'-button forever.

Pretty obvious that it will take around 300 hrs. But how many days will it take me, mon tro?

I'd be doing the same. I have so many rrecorrds I think I'd happily snap in two. I only keep them 'in case'.

Oh, so you finally came to your senses and stopped using that beastly Atrac compression?

that really spun your world upside down, didn't it?
I don't use ATRAC anymore because it was too much hassle, the sound quality wasn't great, but what do you expect. the sound quality of mp3 isn't great either.
I burn and go, baby, burn AND go, burn AND go, burn AND go, burn AND GO!

Oh cum on my face and tits, you can't tell me you'll notice a difference between CD audio and a VBR MP3 encoded with Lame --alt-preset-standard when you're listening on a walkman.

depends on the walkman/amp/phones.
with a decent player and decent phones that are amped by one of those portable amps, you can definately tell the difference.
