What is there to say about this release that hasn't already
been said by peoples faces? It is very good. Not my
favourite but still very good indeed.

when this track came out, it was so completely different
from everything else that was around at the time. i still
enjoy it now, but i heard it when it was sent in as a demo
to Colin Faver's kiss fm show (got the show on a tape
somewhere). blew my mind...

it's definitely good, but aphex once played a slightly
different version at a gig of his i was at in around '97 at
finsbury park, london. it seemed like a faster version,
wondering if anyone else has heard it actually?

Does it make you feel great? If so, then yes, this is the
best (re-re-re)edition.

It was made with four home built boxes that aphex assembled.
Bullshit in hindsight. Probably a few 202's and a Electro
harmonix phaser. It's a shame these newer aphex fans didn't
get to go through that "he drives a tank and only uses gear
he made himself' period. It really added to the whole
mystique. Even if it was a bunch of bull.

i hardly believe that big phased sound in digeridoo was
created on standard gear.

This was the first Aphex Twin I ever heard (I am sure I have
shared this story before!). It was played to me by a guy I
went to college with, we were at his place and he put it on
and went for a shower when he came back he was naked with an
erection, I made my excuses and left. Thanks for introducing
me Aphex but no thanks for showing me the first erect cock
that wasn't mine.

didgeridoo was used in a public fireworks event in barcelona
that made an historic view of music. didg obviously
represented the Electronic Music. it was surprising when i
heard it...

I'm sure that incredible sound was created with military
grade music gear that still hasn't seen the light of day,
and in no way was Dicky blowing off down a cardboard tube
and running it through some effects.

digeridoo is so hypnotic... I could listen to this for
hours

its ages since I didnt play some aphex

now its a good time to retake some of it... might spend a
week listening to the early aphex, afx, caustic, polygon,
gak stuff
