do you feel that the internet has made you more lazy
throughout your years of usage?

this whole immediate gratification (in some terms) thing has
really fucked me.

i can't say.

ive been on internet since 10 or 12 years old; so with
growing up i really can't say if i *am* lazy (now 21) or if
internet had an effect on it.

i can easily see it though, and i think it really decreases
social interaction quality by 10fold.

i talk to brick walls in real life now.

It has made me "lazy" in some ways. But it has also made me
very efficient in other ways.

internet.

i find that i socialize too much now. i push my (paid) work
aside to chat (like i'm doing now.) i know i shouldn't be,
but i guess ultimately i'd rather be doing something as
useless as this than what i'm supposed to be doing.

also, i often think about how people used to have to
actually look (libraries, books, etc) for information. now,
we have 42343 different search engines readily available at
any time. information is a finger tip away, but i feel like
the information has been cheapened.

maybe i'm just silly..

i am lazy at times, but not because of the interweb, just
because life is a fucking non stop roller coaster ride of
tedious responcibility. sometimes i just like to stop and
veg for a day now and then.

''this whole immediate gratification (in some terms) thing

Me too. The internet is never boring, at any given time, I
have like 10 Firefox windows open and I can't figure out
which one I want to pay attention to. They're all so
ostentacious. Information streams in too quickly and it's
had positive and negative effects on me. I can usually get
what I want as soon as I want it, or learn what I need to
know NOW, but is that good? But I love it overall.

Yeah the interweb keeps my brain processing information from
every direction. I'm not sure what the effect will be in the
long term, but its a new era for human sociology, so I shall
push forward in the name of science!

nope
on the contrary; the internet has made me more active. i can
do what i want, go where i want without bothering anybody.
and most important, if i want to know more about any thing
whatsoever, it's on the internet.

it's everydays life that makes me lazy.
