How many Analords?

From watmm:

Analord 1&2 come out January 25th and contain quite a few
more tracks. The exclusive binder that comes with Analord
10
can hold several other volumes of the Analord
series.

Also:
Analord 10 will be made available mid-year as a regular
release. It is unknown if the tracks will be the same or
not.

Never straightforward is it.

i dont know, what i do know is this:

by 1/25/05 we will have 12 new aphex twin tracks, they will
be released in vinyl only, as rephlex is indirectly
supporting soulseek. analord 1 = 6 tracks analord 2 = 4
analord 10 = 2

12 new tracks 12 new tracks!!!!

hopefully by the summer there will be at least 26 new aphex
twin tracks. thats 12 by 1/25 and at least 2 for every anal
released there after.

indirectly supporting soulseek

Isn't rephlex putting it on vinyl not supporting soulseek?

The point is that not all fans have vinyl players and so
will download the rips cos they can't go and buy the cd. Sad
but true :( I'ts not that anyone doesn't want to pay.
Although I think I'll buy the rest cos its such good value!

Isn't rephlex putting it on vinyl not supporting soulseek?
well no since the demand for it is so great that anyone who
is purchasing or purchased the original edition will
undoubtedly share it on soulseek when the rip the vinyl to
mp3 - thus indirectly keeping soulseek in business, supply
and demand

well i should clarify: they do not support the theft of
music - getting it for free - they are indirectly showing
the importance of programs like soulseek and p2p networks.

you know what will be great...if they release analord 10
later down the line on regular vinyl and it has extra tracks
so people who bought the collectors edition might buy it
again

Warp say:

"Richard D James releases a series of Eps on Rephlex records
under the 'Analord' moniker in 2005. The 10th EP in the
series is available to order now direct from Rephlex,
packaged in the special limited edition binder designed to
hold all of the 12"s in the series. Editions 1-9 will then
be released in series throughout the first half of 2005."

"The 10th EP in the series is available to order now
direct from Rephlex, packaged in the special limited edition
binder designed to hold all of the 12"s in the
series.
