i bought a case of miller lite for $24.00 yesterday. that's a dollar a beer, which is absurd if you're buying a case. it's not even good beer.
wtf? it's like that everywhere around here . . . (i'm in dallas, tx btw) even a keg costs a ridiculous amount of money per 12 oz

If I go to a pub, I have to pay $7-8 for half a litre of beer. If I buy a bottle at my local shop I have I can get a 0,5litre can for about $3,50.

that is crazy
6pk bottles miller lite is like $6 after bottle deposit here in michigan.
for good beer (guinness, newcastle, etc) it's bout $10/6pk after bottle deposit.

I pay average of US$1 for a bottle (340ml) of amstel in my local pub. About the same price for a draft of cheaper beer. $2.50 for a six pack in the shop.
That's according to these guys anyway.

hmm.
i remember cases costing like .50 per can not but a few years ago. it's like gas stations figure they should jack up prices of all liquid product simultaneously.
p.s. got me some new wheels *pops a wheelie*

i bought some bottles of miller today and they cost $ 1.5 pr bottle. that's fuggin' cheap for an import here in norway.
a few years back the price was about $ 3 - 4. but we have a beer-war going on, so that's the reason for the drop in price

at Costco, you can get a case of say... Corona for $24 or any bridgeport cases or any alaskan cases
a half rack of PBR is about $6
a sixer of most 'quality' beers in bottles ranges from $6 on sale to $8 regular priced.
in a pub, a house brew might be about $3.50 - $4 a pint.
seattle prices!

wouldn't think so, no. perhaps Bunnpris has scored a couple of trucks containing smuggler-beer. anyways, they provide cheaper intoxication than my usual fix of Tuborg. gotta love those twist-off bottlecaps :)

i agree that miller can be a bit bland to drink, but i get tipsy off it so...
i hate the local beer here in trondheim, it always gives me a terrible hangover for some reason. but when i'm back in my hometown, i usually prefer my local brew.

What's the local brew in Hellevik? I prefer Nordlandspils (of course), but since I'm a cheap bastars I always end up with Tuborg, Borg and Grans. Rimi has a new type of beer 15kr a 0,5can.

my local brewery is Berentsens Bryggeri and took over as the main beer in Rogaland when the production of Tou was moved to Oslo.
(note: it's called Hellvik, and lies about 10km north of Egersund. and is a little shitty place i might add)

Pubs ---> Between £1 a pint in northern student bars to £3-odd down in london.
Off Licenses ---> 8 cans for a £5 is about the standard for carlsburg, fosters, carling etc. Continental lagers are a bit more expensive, around £8 for 8 stellas or grolsch. Real ales and local breweries' beers are about £1.50 for a 500ml bottle.

used to lived there, havnt updated my profile yet . . .
maybe that's what i'm remembering . . . northern prices vs. bullshit texas prices.
and every beer here is "the official beer of texas" . . . . your bud lights, miller lights, coors, will all have some combination of armadillos, texas flags, and cowboy hats on the labels.
texas pride . . .

ranges from 2.00 UAH (hrivnas) to 7 UAH for one 0.33l bottle.
you can buy 2 liter plastic bottle of beer for around 5-6 UAH.
In clubs or pubs it costs a lot more.
1 hrivna is around 18,5 american cents.
These prices are not precise since I know them only approximately, because I don't like beer.
