Yes backing them interrogate each others rectums with thier knobs. Good one. Transcript from today:
US Soldier: "Tell us where Saddam is" Prisoner: "I don't know...honestly...and I think I might be pregnant"
US Soldier: "Tell us where Saddam is NOW or you are fucking him over there as well"
US Soldier 2: "We already caught Saddam" US Soldier: "Never correct me in front of the sandmen"
US Central Command announce yet another soldier killed in friendly fire. Meaning that the victorious Americans continue the trend of killing more of their own troops than the opposition manage.

On the subject of the similar thing with UK troops, the MoD is still claiming they're fake (the pics have been examined) and there's no evidence to suggest they're true. The fact the British ones don't show faces means one of two things:
1) British troops did it- they're just not retarded enough to have their faces in the pics.
2) They're fake. I don't mean photoshopped- I mean mocked up... All you need would be for a couple of
Unless someone can positively ID (and prove) that: a) The victims were from Iraq and b) The identity of the "soldiers" involved, it'll never go any further.
Hell, the pics could even of been made in the UK. There are plenty of abandoned warehouses and places like that you could do something like that in... Army surplus store trousers, sympathetic white person to play the soldier (I don't even think the ethnicity of the soldiers is revealed in the UK pics, but I'm not sure). Seems a bit suspect for the UK pics to come out a matter of days after the US ones.

That pic of the guy with the wires on his hands... man, a horror movie production designer couldn't have come up with a more poetic, spine chilling image. Madison Avenue couldn't have invented a better anti-American advertising logo. It's right out of Bosch.
It's iconic.
I estimate it will cost the Americans 5 to 6 figures of lives.

Oh, and the one with the American soldier woman holding the Iraqi guy on a leash? The only thing I can think of that'd be more degrading to Arabs is if she was castrating him while fucking him with a strap-on.
Extremist Muslims are like Klingons. They're not afraid to die. Hell, they'll stick dynamite between their children's teeth, light it and toss the kid at you. But their honor is important.
Aren't there any Americans in the army who understand the psychology of their enemy? I guess not.

But the killers in the Balkans didn't try to make it seem like they were there to liberate and help their victims. You can't go in and say you're the heroic liberators and then do that.
And I don't understand why Americans say, well, it isn't as bad as what Saddam was doing to the Iraqis... what, you have to compare yourself to Satan himself in order to look good?!

There are a couple of other things that seem to indicate the British ones are fake.
i) The 'Iraqi prisoner' looks remarkably well for 8 hours of beatings (he isn't even sweating which in that heat he would have been)
ii) The 'soldiers' are holding SA-80 Mk.1 which are no longer in active use.
iii) The webbing is done up incorrectly on the 'soldiers' iv) The Daily Mirror paid for the pictures (surely if it was someone involved with the military, appauled at the treatment of prisoners they would have sent the pictures annonymously)
v) The truck in the background of the photo's is not thought to be in deployment in Iraq.

OK there are a few soldiers out their from both sides who probably do engage in inhumane actions. However to label all of the forces as cold bloded and ignorant is disgusting. The armed forces stationed in Iraq, as a whole are now risking their lives on daily basis to try and bring stabiity to a messed up country. Don't confuse political motive, decision and media sensationalism with what is actually going on over there.
I have saw footage of British troops playing footy with Iraq kids, chatting and working with the locals and so on...sadly most people don't give a fuck about the good work and as such the media just report the negative aspects, which is putting all of the soldiers at greater risk.

I don't doubt that. I know what UN was doing in Bosnia pretty well (but not as well as people who lived there).
It is just that another face of West is slowly becoming evident. People memorize bad things much easier than good things.
It is my experience that has thought me never to believe anything I see on TV or read in News papers. They are all connected in some way and work for each other in some way. We only see things when fight between them happens.

It was actually largely Europeans who wanted the land from the natives and then went on to form America. Sadly ignorance tends to be passed form generation to generation which is how the mistreatment of people based on ethnicity/creed has gone on for so long and will continue to go on into the future.
Bashing the western nations has become a very popular thing to do these days, and a lot of it is very unjustified.

A rather unnecessary mess they made. Do they really think they're doing something useful there? Those soldiers are just put there for the show. The head honcho's who sponsored Bush and this war knew this was going to happen but that's none of their concern,in fact they don't give a shit. It was all just for business purposes, and for it those stupid grunts who think they're on the righteous path are catching bombs, bullets and bodybags. War is just another path of business and it's not gonna stop cause it's far too lucrative.

The soldiers didn't make the mess, the politicians did. And as for just being put there for show, they are still risking their lives. The disrespect you show towards the very people who would be first in line to take up arms to protect your freedom is pretty sad.

hey, i could not help singing our national hymne
you seem to have somewhat lost the feeling for what the UK/US are allowed to do, and yes, it's the army, not the politicians, that's such an easy excuse. if they do good - it's the army, to stand for you and protect you, if they torture people it must have then be the politicians.

What are you talking about? At least interpret my words the way they are written and not in some stupid way so that you can write an incoherent rambling speech.
I said it was the politicians who started the conflict in Iraq, not that they were responsible for the actions of a number of army personnel who seem to have been taking great pleasure in torturing Iraqi's.
I am just responding in this topic the way I would argue against any gross generalisations. I have friends who are in the armed forces and who are good people. They would give their lives protecting people.
You can't judge the many by the actions of the few.

Of course they understand their psychology- they use female guards precisely because they know muslims find it degrading- it's part of breaking down their will.
