objects of desire...

how attached are you to material things?

what are the objects that are the most important to you (i'm
sure a lot will answer CD collection, and i would too =)),
and what are the objects you're really seeking/wanting to
get now?

i personally am trying to lose attachment to material
possessions... not to get too mad when something i liked
gets damaged or lost or stolen... (it's really hard not to
get mad when my computer has problems though °_° and i
used to get really mad for music too... i don't know how i
would survive if i lost my CD collection - my plushes are
also very important to me, and i'd be upset if i lost my
collection of watches...)

what i'd really like to find now is a Baiken figurine, a
particular album which is really hard to get (and i keep
moaning and moaning about it all the time ^^)... also a new
television would be nice because the old one is small, has a
badly centered image and some parts of the screen are
missing, on the upper side (so in some video games i cannot
write my name on the high scores =))... and i'd like to have
soulseek for mac too if it's a material possession ^^

it sounds silly cos i don't even play it anymore but if my
collection of magic cards got destroyed i'd fucking cry. i
really should sell them. i could clear my overdraft

I'm very unattached in general, like I could imagine living
without everything, like living a simple life on a tropical
island or something.
Except for my CD/DVD/[stuff I've created myself] collection
(which is a collection), I like my puter the most because I
can do so much stuff with it (but it's not a very new puter
or anything)...

I get attached to everything. At the moment I'm thoroughly
pissed off that I can't find the ring my sister gave me for
my 21st. The last time I remember having it was my Grans
funeral a couple of weeks ago. I'm so pissed off that I may
have lost it. I went mental when I couldn't find the ring my
girlfriend got me either. I don't wear rings but I always
have it with me. It was on the car seat in the end :S

I'm very attached to my vinyl. I'd be murderous if that went
missing.

I'm really wanting to get a new computer and a digital
camera.

JAroen > yes! ; )

Spacecadet > my brother is a big magic fan... he's totally
passionate, he is talking about magic cards all the time,
even when he is on the internet he is talking on magic card
forums and trading with people!

The only thing I ever worry about breaking is my TV and
guitar. Everytime I drop my guitar I swear my heart is going
to leap out of my chest and try to catch the fucking thing.

I'm attached to material things like there's no tomorrow. I
think I was meant to be rich, but someone screwed up the
paperwork and here I am.. in hell.

Here's something I'll never own... GOD DAMNIT!

Kinzie Kenner can kick Ashley Blue with her left leg (which
is sweet btw)!

Taylor Rain is just an anorectic cokehead. Now, that I think
about it, I think they're all cokeheads.

Women IN their 40's that is, not ones FROM the 40's as they
would obviously be dragging their curtains along the ground.

I'm getting a new computer on the weekend and I know it's
going to be a lovely honeymoon, my first real powerhouse
system. I won't settle for anything less than 3Ghz, 3.2 if
possible. Human being wise, hot and well preserved women in
their late 30's/early 40's drive my crazy. I can't wait to
instigate an affair behind their husbands' backs.

Heh, I don't know who Anita Blond is. I think I've seen her,
but I wouldn't recognise her. I can't say that about Kinzie.
Damn she's hot. You can see she's disturbed in the head,
from the way she acts, but she looks good. Not that you'd
see normal girls in porn. The normal ones are probably the
ones who cry at the auditions and walk out. I mean some of
the fucked up ones probably cry too, but they do the movies
anyway :)
