I went back into the past to see how he got a deal in the
first place. In particular the Salt E.P. I love it. The
beat programming and everything. His newer stuff still
leaves me a bit cold though. The beat programming was
better on his older stuff as well. There was more purpose
about it.

Maybe I will never like anything he ever does again, but I
will still appreciate what he managed to do back in the
early days of his released work.

God Bless Snares.

btw, I am typing shitty short sentenced because I am out of
breath.

No dancing...my admiration currently extends only to a 4
track EP. Lets not go overboard, I just now think he is a
semi talented hippy who rushes his work far to often and
releases mostly shit albums with a couple of half decent
tracks.

A god wouldn't look like the victim of a frenzied hammer
attack.

Yeah, the older harsher stuff, with a bit of Amen work is my
favourite snares stuff of all.
You've heard "Shitfuckers" that stuffs my fav. get a listen
to that if you already havent and your keen on the older
Snares.

I think I've probably gone through my V Snares period. He is
so noisey I think thats the problem. I like his stuff but I
must admit recently I haven't had much desire to listen to
him.

i think his recent stuff is some of his most thoughtful and
well composed to be honest. fuck it's all just personal
opinion for gods sake (these circular arguements piss me
right off)

and i'd hardly call chocolate wheelchair noisy. it's quality
party tunes. again, in my opinion

are you sure the newer stuff isn't just too fast for you? a
lot of it is as bodyrocking as the old stuff but more manic.

Spacecadet,

Don't get me wrong I like his stuff a lot
but you know its just not something I like to listen to all
the time. I think you gotta be really pysched up for V
Snares.

True but childkiller remix is definitely the best Snares
track though.
