yeah it was mike p

and then he changed it to splodgechops cause i guess too
many people knew him

he's probably under a different name now unless he stopped
coming here (totally understandable)

seems the multiple account rules only apply to us peasants

babydieonchord is shurely an artist... as seen in his last
treads....he talking much about Music methods....VS
Releases...etc...

It could be one of the VS....but who knows....who
cares....probably he will post an answer if he sees this
tread.

Thats what he wrote in a Post:
"I have worked at 2 record labels (both now bankrupt) and
work at a distributor (which handles some idm (but mostly
rock, indie, drum & bass and house). Now all record sales
are falling across the board mainly because shops are going

for stocking and supporting the lowest common denominator
releases. Taking an example of the sales figures of one
single artist (sort of idm/breakcore) in their 2000 release

it sold 2750. Their 2001 release sold 1345, their 2002 album

has sold 507 copies. And I have to go now because I need to

try and sell some idm to sales reps at virgin who only want

to hear about Coldplays next album "

"I am also an artist and I have to agree with that
quivvuulum
person. I am not so vehemeently against file sharing though.

There are some facts: Artists record sales in "idm" have
been falling since the advent of filesharing. Examples of a

single idm artist album sales are on average: 30,000 for an

album in 1993, to 40,000 in 1995, to 23,000 in 97, 12,000 in

98, 6000, in 99, 3000 in 2000, 1500 in 91, to 500 this
year. "

"Mark Pritchard did the Reload mix of On on his own. Tom
Middleton was not involved"

"Bummy info: Released on a compilation cd "Mealtime" (Planet

Mu Records) in 1997 alongside tracks from Plug (Vibert),
µ-Ziq, and others.

The break in the track is James Brown's "Soul Pride" and
it's timing is altered by a Pro Tools timestretcher Plug-In.

The strings and bass came from a sample cd and a korg synth

respectively"

Oh god this is painful.

Rubber Johnny = Jason Buckle (was in all seeing eye and did

JPBuckle album on rephlex).

"Johnny Clayton did the artwork for mike & rich.

over."

"seems the multiple account rules only apply to us

Nope, I've seen Phobs tell a B list IDM artist off for it in
the past...

I've got ask why it matters that a "celebrity" is on here.

It's nice to know that they frequent the board and read our
comments about their music but as for who they are on the
board...... I really couldn't care. So Mike P was
splodgechops... and?

"ppl like * and * have some weird obsession with me, i
freaks me out so , im quitting this shit, results of the
competition will be out next week
"

was one of the last posts byt J-Hok. I think that speaks
volumes. I removed the names as well. I don't want to start
a flame war.

I didn't think of that till I'd posted it. If people want to
