RDJ Tribute Album

gotmeth? on 2001-04-18 20:38 [#00003828]

i've read through a lot of the threads here and have come to
found that a lot of us are musicians, so why not combine our
talents and make a sorta tribute album to RDJ? i've always
been into redoing some his songs. would anyone like to get
in on it? if so, name some songs you'd like to attempt.
mine would be:
4
Flim
On

How do you cover an electronic song? ( cept in raimons case,
by turning it into rock, which was excellent by the way)

the nimoys did the acapella covers.

sine707 did an excellent piano interpretation of disc 1
track 2 of drukqs, and someone else recently did great
covers of fingerbib and beetles.

so it can be done, and done well!

"Cover music" sucks... have you EVER heard a good tribute
album? (can?t remember a single one myself...)

Someone said remixed music is the new cover music, don?t
know about that... Anyway AE?s versions of krautrock on
"Splitrmx12" is quite good...
