How did you find out about this contest? Moste likely cos you're a visitor of this site... but there has been a massive response with loads of new members signing up.. I'm just curious...... :) |

well, about 2 years ago i was told by some guy that there would be an Ae contest here... so i was waiting around for it for two whole years!!! and now that its finally been and gone, i dont need to post here anymore...! |

i've been around various message boards and as this site grew out of the old ones i would occasionally check in to see what was up. i wasn't really interested in the message board, though i'd occasionally look through it for info. i did, actually, create the membership for the ae contest. |

this contest was announced on numerous mailing lists including the IDM list. that is why there are so many entries i would guess. |

Yes, I did sign up for the contest. I admit it, I got here from the ae site, saw the top of the page and that was it. But I dig this, the site's all together very cool, and it'd be pointless to be a member but never say anything. So, what I'm trying to say is, hi. |

I signed up for the contest but I didn't get that XLTronic was the old autechre.nu at first. A friend (avart) gave me the tip about it. I am currently between genres and dunno where I will end up (currently making "electro" I think...). I'm no quantity poster...will only be bringing top notch quality here! ;) |

Erhm, one of my friends showed me the site sometime back in april which sparked a mini-contest between us to see who could do the best remix of an ae track that's a common personal favourite. Of course I went and cheated and did it collaberativly with an internet buddy... and submitted it here... and stuff... but, er, hooray anyway. |

i have entered on Autechre.nu , then i was iinformed that site is closing another messageboard is on: xltronic...so i went there (here ) and on title it was: CONTEST AE , so ... ...then my mom said that Eric is so stupid that he could kill himself by his own spoon...and then this bastard, the postman, you know who he is , tell me that phobiazero is cute , so i entered here , and that's all... |

I found out from friends during electronic venues here in Portland that there was an autechre remix thing going on somewhere out there. I make music and it sounded like fun. I typed Autechre Remix Contest into google and blammo. I didn't originally know about the list, but now that I found it... I like it. Can I keep it? |

i make music - and i didnt enter the contest - because i dont really like autechre that much - and i cant make music becuase i want ot - it just happens i have a hard time making music for a sepecific reason - i suck balls at remixing |

i was a regular visitor to autechre.nu & aphextwin.nu ever since those sites were put up, but i was never all too inclined to join any of the messageboards, at the time not being aware that topic-wise, anything goes, and it's not just obsessed fanboys discussing the virtues of track A over track B. i kept checking when the xltronic.com merger of all the other sites would happen, but it all seemed kind of stale in that department, so it wasn't until the ae contest that i joined the board, but it was well worth it! i'm damn addicted now! i used to post on audiogalaxy quite a lot back in its hayday, but xltronic owns! |
