that's right.

i've cleverly named it "Ice Porn Baby (BB Marathon Edit)"

WHAT: breakbeat/d'n'b remix of Ice Ice Baby, and a mix of
the latter and "Porn Coconut Co"

WHO: Vanilla Ice & Plaid and ME! :)

WHERE: right here

enjoy! :)

How can it get serious when you've got Vanila Ice rapping
over some insane beats?? Put a smile on your face before you
listen to it.

That was cool! The beginning stuff was funny, but the rest
was actually... quite aesthetically good melody-wise etc,
despite the odd combination (anything + vanilla ice is an
odd combination). I like the idea of using odd elements in a
serious way... like use something normally thought of as
humorous in a sad way- or something out of context of normal
interpretation like that. I think that's what aphex did with
logan witch rock, he chose some seriously idiotic sounds but
then composed them with utmost care. Nice touch using that
site's picture as your main image. Are you still using that
software you once claimed was your favorite... dreamstation
or somethingerather?

I liked it! Although Vanilla Ice's sheer shitness is hard to
enjoy.

thank you.

i got this idea right in the middle of the track (before the
"ice ice baby") about sampling the bells in Porn Coconut Co,
cause i thought it would fit rather good. I've could've also
gone further with the drum'n'bass theme (funny silly
bit)...but you are right, it's basically two parts. perhaps
i'll do one of them a little longer and leave the other part
out.

i've used Soundforge 4.5 on this one. It pretty much does
everything- and Audiomulch for some of the FX..

i use Dreamstation too. Excellent easy-to-use tracker with
lotsa knobs. i love it.

I'm working on a much less inspired mc hammer remix since
someone posted that loop. (search for "hammer" by recent
date here to find it, not that you couldn't just find it
somewhere else)

heh cool, Rude_Ass_Tinker (aka mike p) also made a remix of
that...you should check it out.

making remixes of shitty tracks is fun, tho. I was about to
do Snow's "Informer", but Dolleater thought about it before
me.

that was quite a great track too. and the pointless al bundy
picture is a nice addition. "I am not talented" is one of
the best song titles ever.

thanks. by the way, this track is part of my upcoming album.
it's basically a collection of remixes/transformations of
shitty dance tracks.

So far i've remixed:

Vanilla Ice - Ice Ice Baby
Haddaway - What Is Love
Corona - Rhythm Of The Night
...and i'm currently struggling with 2 Unlimited's "No
Limit".

If you know of any other cheesy/crappy dance-tunes, please
let me know .

factory's everybody dance now, and Rob Base and DJ EZ Rock -
It Takes Two, who let the dogs out!
