Somewhere way in the back of my music collection, I've got
a Partridge Family album kicking around, as well as "Disco
Jews".

You?

AAAAH MAN DISCO JEWS
HAVE YOU GOT THE COVER?
CAN YOU GIVE IT TO ME?!

I'm ashamed of having Deep Forest's 'Comparsa', as it sucks
ass :(

Deep Forest used to be cool, but then they rolled down to
this pop schmuzz :(

offline Ganymede from Tlön, Uqbar, Orbis Tertius on 2003-02-28 22:02 [#00575204]
Points: 1045 Status: Lurker

Sorry, no scanner... I might try futzing around with taking
pictures of the cover with my camera and sending it to you
that way. Maybe tomorrow after sleep.

The same thing that happened to Deep Forest happened to
Enigma. I bought the third Enigma album on the strength of
the first, only to discover that it was no good. Got rid of
it or I would have mentioned it in the original post.

nothing is bad about garbage 2.0. that is a GOOD album, very
good even. shameful would be if you had, say, spandau ballet
or aqua or alanis morrisette.. but garbage shameful?!?

offline roygbivcore from Joyrex.com, of course! on 2003-03-01 00:42 [#00575236]

i have stuff from way back in the day

ace of bass is all that comes to mind. these older girls
that i had crushes on liked them. one of them was a hell of
a tom boy. anyways.

i miss their dad. they were sisters. wait no. only one of
them. and another oldergirl. but the dad was awesome, he
was hella irish, and my dad gave him the basket ball nick
name john ( ican't quite remember his first name)"one-pint"
duty. cause when irish people say point it kind of sounds
like pint. and they drink!

good times.

Greatest hits by Abba & Dire straits. ;)
I don't know why you should be ashamed to have a record in
your collection. I marks some stage in your life (even very
short impulsive one's :)
For me they're only 2 kinds of music, good and bad (wich is
for every person differently, thank god). Don't think so
narrow that because you are SO idm that's that the only
thing you're 'allowed' to listen to.
There is a lot of good music out there that can widen your
view on music.

OI! You leave Kahimi Karie alone, she's a Japanese angel ;)

I've never really been ashamed of anything in my music
collection, but anything likely to provoke derision in most
people went when I had the big CD clearout in January.

Hmm, that reminds me I have a bunch more CDs to wave bye-bye
to. I might post a list later, trade for some CD-Rs of stuff
I haven't got.

Madonna - Music and two Ace of Base-albums. The first one
they released is actually kind of catchy. ^^

But heck, if I find one interested in buying them, I'd sell
them with an instant.
