:)

i love going through some of these threads. its great to be
reminded that music is always so personal and
subjective....

as for my embarrassments, i'd have to include:

The Vengaboys - Boom Boom Boom Boom single (I was 13,
okay?)

Juno Reactor - Beyond The Infinite (Ugh. Horrible,
unpolished, boring album. The only trance I really like and
appreciate is from a german label called Eye-Q, particularly
the Behind The Eye compilations)

Ken Ishii - Flatspin (Just utter crap, imo - it was in a
bargain bin)

*bump*

Nah, I don't think so.

Maybe it just sounds too dated? Then again I love Leftism
and other stuff from that era...

I think George Michael's a wicked singer. There's a few Wham
and solo tracks of his I really like.
"Last Christmas" is my favourite yuletide pop song ever.

don't embarass him....

i forgot to mention george michael "patience".

if i found a vinyl for "listen without prejudice", i'd take
it, too.

very good songs, just that.

I'm not embarrassed by any of my music anymore. There was a
day when I had shame but now I stand proud.

'I'm proud to be an American! where at least I know I'm
freeeeee!'

P.S. Lee Greenwood is not amongst my CD collection.

thanks ganymede for a very interesting thread post!

i've really enjoyed reading all of the responses.

as for me.....i started in classical training before i
entered the electronic tribe and must still have a few very
embarassing recordings. let me go look.........o.k look out,
mostly i like to try and appreciate all things, but
............
the best of italian opera (all volumes) or christmas with
the cinncinati pops orchestra are all totally lame. how
embarassing.....now what will all of you think of me.
at least i can say that 4 cd's out of a whopping 3000
extremely wicked albums (i used to collect records and now
buy way too many cd's) is still doing o.k. --right???
i should walk right back over there , pick up those cd's and
f*cking TOSS them into the bin.

She sings: "I'll blow you all the way, heeeey...It's murder
on a dance floor...", or maybe "I'll blow you all away,
heeeey...", I don't remember. ;DD

Anyway, maybe that's why it gives you a hard-on. Prepare for
Sophie's lips.

"The Next Best Thing OST"
