So who likes the Rednex? Since Aphex Twin wasn’t
releasing anything lately I decided to get back into
listening to europop and such. I found out the Rednex had a
new album out (I already have the first) and it’s just
come today! '...Farm Out!' It’s fantastic! Some of the
best IDM I have ever heard and I really recommend you guys
check them out.

It has a remix of 'Bottleneck Bob' on this new album that
kinda sounds like Eiffel 65 remixed the vocals. It's very
cool. I'm gonna be playing this loads. 'The Way I Mate' is a
fucking kicking track too!

Rednex is ok....But I prefer dr.bombay.
He really showed with "rice & curry" that you don't need to
make mainstream music to sell records.

The new Rephlex line up is looking great by the way. Maybe I

Braindance.

I swear I was gonna go out and get like more Eiffel 65,
E-Rotic, Captain Jack and anything else until I saw new
Aphex Twin material but I think this 'Lory D' is gonna be
more then an adequate alternative!

rednex opened so many doors. they've been one of the most
influential bands of the 20th century for me - neu,
kraftwerk, can, rednex. in that order.

seriously though, the carefully timed horse whinney at the
end of one of the verses blew me away.

Yeah, Joking aside I met the guy responsible for promoting
them in England? I have no idea but he wasn't too
forthcoming about it. Anyway by trying to get some of the
harder to find Rednex singles I found out that this dreamy
technoland I was in was dominated by pop placement radio
crap and purchased places in the chart. First I had to buy
the imports, then HMV didn't stock them, then I found they
had come out but only in Germany and so on for a lot of the
techno I liked in the mid nineties. It was just a sheet
covering the real music I wanted out there. By sniffing
around for the most obscure and real techno I could find I
landed next to Rephlex, Warp, Digital Hardcore, Relapse,
Release, and so on.

It's fucking annoying being in work all day and posting here
to release my boredom. I only recently have seen that I need
to be out there with the fucking music but work has me held
here with my wings cut. I need to get out there and be in it
not talking about it on a website. I want to be out there
with the music!

I'm sat here at a computer when I could be out there having
Detroit music ripping thru my brain and reprogramming my
body. Floating on the music with my mind in another world! I
may have had lots of sex but in some ways I still feel like
a hatchling. I need out!

My friends best hook me up for some dark nights out. It's a
new year and I have holidays to spend.

I will always support the Rednex. Finding some of their
singles impossible to get helped me discover how shady this
business can be, along with Scooter who was suddenly not
stocked in HMV for many years until recently at very HIGH
prices, Captain Jack and E-Rotic who had albums in HMV for
£25 each! And Eiffel 65 whose record label didn't sell
their CD's over here. I'll support Rephlex even more because
they have been releasing the music I have wanted for years
but didn’t know existed. It's only gonna get better from
here.
