Phantasy Star has always had one of the best soundtracks
out there... all of them do, especially Online on Gamecube.
The music in the mines reminds me of Gescom-style Autechre
and old AFX ambient years.

Fusion has a killer soundtrack, and the first Resident Evil
has a chilling score... especially the remake.

But Silent Hill is madness... pure creepy as hell industrial
ambient. So disconcerting... so brilliant.

Ophecks,

Streets of Rage 1,2,3 I'll second that. Yuzo Koshiro
excellent shit.

Plus the music from Xenon on the Atari St and Ghouls and
Ghosts on the ST absolutely awesome mindblowing music.

There is a site called video game music (www.vgmusic.com)
thats got loads of video games tracks there but they're in
midi though.

Also if you go to www.atari.st and download the sid plugin
you can listen to Atari St music online.

much :)

Wip3out & Wip3out XL, early Megaman games, Bionic Commando
(NES), Metroid games, just to name a few..

this particular trac on Metroid 2 (Game Boy) isn't a far cry
from some of the IDM trax we listen to, which amazes me, in
that this game was released in 1991

Doom, Doom II, and Final Doom - best music ever.

I don't know about the new "Doom III", don't have the demo
or anything... doubt it'd run on this computer anyhow
