drukqs
is not music

drukqs
is a set of tools, in which we can use to build music.

drukqs
is a set of protocols and objects that we can skew to
manifest true music.

drukqs
is there for us to play with.

offline ecnadniarb on 2002-10-15 20:48 [#00404939]
Points: 24805 Status: Lurker | Show recordbag

No...

drukqs
was an average release from someone who is capable of doing
so much more.

drukqs
is the sort of release that had it have been released by
anyone other than RDJ wouldn't have sold.

drukqs
had maybe 5 standout tracks with tons of filler.

drukqs was fucking brilliant and i couldn't live without it
to this day!

*one step away from creating music that changes universal
time when played....*

yr both right and yr both wrong:
Drukqs was a great release but:
Drukqs cannot be changed or else it would not be Drukqs.
Drukqs was not made for us to fool around with but to enjoy
as it is. Otherwise why not make a disc full of samples and
locked gooves? like haujobb and so takahashi ?

And how do you (personally) plan to use it?

Some great tools, but no toolbox.

Translation--- some nice tracks strewn about in a poorly
laid out and ill-flowing package.

Die, Gwarek, die!

gwarek is fucking classic

go get a decent driver/servo sub, then come back to me.

future ambient, < 30Hz bass owns j00.

push 140+dBs at 30Hz, listen to that song, then come back to
me.

Bass textures anyone?

where it keeps cutting out really fast.. just listening to
that makes me pass out nearly, it's great.
