Sweden. It always seems to me like a great place (although I've never been there). Considering what a small country it is in terms of population (approx. 9million) it leads the world in many political areas, particularly those relating to environmental issues. It is supposed to have a high standard of living - and the life expectancy is particularly high. I often meet Swedish people here in Britain. My girlfriend's friend is Swedish, a guy I went to school with was Swedish and a guy I work with here at the university is Swedish. They also have a decent football team. So, come on Swedes, let's hear some more points (good and bad) about Sweden. I hear that one down side is that the cost of living (food, accomodation, etc) is very high...... |

Manicminer: U MUST MOVE TO SWEDEN!!! I been all around the world and theres no place like Sweden. The people are very fiendly (u never get into trouble, no fights, I never got into a brawl here in Sweden but it happens now and then when u party in other countries like England and US etc), no racists, Its a beautiful country etc etc But the best thing of them all is THE LADIES (but I know u knew that already)!!!! ;) |

Yup!! ain't no place like sweden. maybe sweden would not be a first choice for a tourist from another country. We have nothing that is really spectacular or great or big like most other countries do , i mean no eifel tower or disney land or huge pyramids. BUT we also don't have ANY really BIG problems like most other do.(im typing Lecoeur style haha!!) Its just a overall nice clean high standard country. I love it =) And like Phobia said , people is very differen't in differen't parts of the country. For example in the northen parts people tend to be more quiet But in other parts people are very chatty , especialy in gothenburg!!!!! man!! they never stop talking!! |

Though I should point out most of those bad animals live out in the bush and almost never come into the city and urban area's. I've never seen a loose snake, only in Zoo's. Another fake rumour is that swedish is suposed to be this big porn country. We don't have any big porn industry at all!! Atleast not compared to the porn nation number one USA , and they are the ones that spread the rumour haha!!
