more moderators?

why not just assign some more moderators?

members who can resist getting cought up in the stupid
stuff, however u define it...

to keep the topics reasonable, and IF necessary close a
topic

i know we have some but stuff always seems to happen when
they're not around..... so maybe we should make a few more?

who will moderate the moderators though?

the moderators wont need to be moderated, because they will
be mature individuals.

the webmaster would hand pick people he has known for along
time and trusts

i do think more moderators might be a good idea...

phobiazero?
each other?

its not like a police force that can become corrupt.....
cmon, most of the really stupid topics actually CONTAIN a
post about how stupid it is

we KNOW what SHOULDN"T be allowed... we just need some
people who can enforce it

i was just thinking about that the other day - but so many
of us are too involved to be objective about it - i am, for
one - i can't think of anyone except maybe Jand

i dunno, i disagree with topics being closed on grounds of
censorship, but if they were outdated or abandoned, then
they should be closed.

nacmant and funkmaster have my respects. i would nominate
them. they seem to have been here long, and are mature

we already have some moderators, but they cannot spend too
much time here. A moderator must be somebody 1000%
trustable, and that is hard to find these times.

hmm...

thats kind of a shame that no one comes to your mind

id hope there would be at least one or two that you guys
could trust...

i agree zeus....
nacmat and funkmaster would both be great

tunmx: as an example..... nacmat/funkmaster are always very
mature and seem trustable.... im sure they could keep it
relevent but still have fun

they COULD have been funy the first time.... but they happen
like every 20 minutes!
its getting old!

Look, it is not my task to find moderators. I have my
preferences of course, but I will not decide it by myself.
We used to discuss questions like this with Phobia. I do not
spend that much time here as he does, and he is the original
creator, and owner of this site after all :)

perhaps something you might want to talk with phobs about.

i wasnt trying to tell you what to do in anyway

just thinking outloud...

Does thid board need additional policing?

I think the current moderators have good judgement?

It would be better to have a code of practice.

To be honest I have found very little on this board that I
would consider offencive.

Silly at times, but on the whole I think Phobiazero does a
really good job.

Sine is a great moderator me thinks (many trolls have felth
his wrath hehe) but one or two more wouldn't hurt.
Why would more moderators (with good judgement) be a bad
thing?
Are you afraid there won't be no more "mustard or Ketchup?"
or topics?

010101,

i wasnt implying that phob, or any of the other moderators
arent doing a good job.

its just that they cannot always be online.

Extra moderators would make up for that , i think.
