I know....and it's back in a room of my own so no more worries about people looking over my shoulder.... I soooo wish my boss would realise that you get the best work out of digital workers by giving em the best kit....He's in Peru at the mo but needless to say, I'll have a few words with him when he gets back and see if I can a new laptop... fingers crossed...theres nothing quite like a laptop.... Still, I've been moving more into doing Art stuff in the real world now instead of digitally so perhaps this is a blessing is disguise.... (You should have heard me swear this morning...the air turned bluer than one of Mehos porn vids...;).... |

I can't swear at work. My boss is deeply religious and does his nut if you so much as swear or blaspheme (Spelt wrong I'm sure.) It's hard but I make up for it when I get home. Lucky in once sense with our boss though. He always goes way over the minimum spec for any equipment we need. Got a gig of RAM in this machine. |

yeah...this server is massively over-specced.... It gets about 10 users max ... and thats only to access Webpages (something a Spectrum could do..).... I'm a Technical Officer here and I told them this but they really don't have any idea of tech.... And it's all our bloody tax money that pays for this shit as well.... Still, at least it's my little baby now...;)... |
