Wow, last days I was out for a short holiday and today I
discover Astrobotnia pt.3... really cool. I checked at
8:20am on rephlex and there was nothing... but at 12:25pm I
found it.
It's really a fresh update...

dissapointed with all the oldskool beats in them,..

Apache, funky drummer. Amen,...I mean for futuristic
music,.ahh well,....I'm just a fool

disappointed??? I love it!!! Old school is nice, plus I
think think its updated future/oldschool its way too
advanced nah mean?

Its alright to use amen, funky drummer etc if u do something
creative with it, im mean come on its just drum sounds...

dunno what to say about the third part yet tho..

the third part wasnt as good as the other parts, it was
still very good tho.

what are the 2 first minutes of pt 3 (with the bouncy
sound)? I'm sure this is from somewhere else and that I've
got a record with it.

Hey maybe Astrobotnia could be Squarepushers little brother?
Didnt richard say in an interview how toms little brother
was going to be the next aweseome electronic artist and they
were going ot release some of his stuff? Just thinking out
loud...

I was just about to say this!!! Andy Jenkinson is
Astrobotnia!!

Listen to selection 16 one of the bonus tracks is made by
Andy and it sounds like ASTRO!!!!!!!!!!

Ceephax Acid CREW!!!!!!!!! = Astrobotnia

I was just about to say this

Part three sounds like Andy

part two Richard

part one Ovuca

???

mmmm...could be...

Sounds more like SQPR to me... Andy J/Ceephax seems a lot
more Drum Machine based that the AS Pt3 I've heard so
far....

Will have a bit more of a listen tonight...

Will the AS mystery ever be solved?...In a way, I hope
not...let the music speak for itself...

shit no news!!! these tracks were parts of the rephlex radio
show :<
anyway i heard a sound that is also on one song of vatican
nitez
but ovuca still seems there in part 3...
i think more & more of a multi-collaboration or super-weird
remix album...
I want to be in june!!

Ah.. the bouncy sound in the beginning of part 3 is from
'dead cities' by FSOL.

maybe astrobotnia = FSOL? :)

why would ceephax change his name before he even become
known using that name? besides I think astrobotnia sounds
like a name for a compilation more than a name for a
musician

I've been listening to part 3 for some hours now. I LOVE it
as much as 1 and 2.

I'm sure it's not Tom Jenkinson - dunno about Andy. Why
would they keep him anonymous? But who knows?

...and Astrobotnia will most likely be released in Sweden.
It doesn't matter tho - use some nice internet shops - like
Warpmart. :)

Phobiazero, thank you much. Astrobotnia is the answer to my
hunger. It's so good. Parts of three felt like photons
traveling through a thick warm dark substance... that vision
came near the end, last two or three sections. Knocks my
sox off.

yea, why is pt2 only on vinyl? i mean that's the one by
aphex (IMO), and it'll be the least accessible
(mechanically, not stylistically - except for you vinyl
heads). they may as well just write "cd-r me!" on the cover.

the only people who are hyping it are the users of this
board - they haven't kept much secret at rephlex - they've
given away most of the music and shown you the sleeves long
before it's been released - the only thing they haven't
given is the person who made it's first name and surname
which hardly matters!
