Astrobotnia Part 3

astrobotnia is just aphex IMHO, remixing other rephlex
tracks. Only aphex could come with such a large amount of
high quality work. dont forget, rephlex have never done this
with any of their previous releases, and aphex has left
warp, so 2 +2 =afx

PART 3 IS FUCKING GOOOD!!!!!

It has grown a lot, now I like it as much as part 1 and 2.

If its not aphex then its a dude in his class.

Straight up and down this guy is on AFXs level.

it must be someone known, otherwise why all those JPEGs with
hints of the artist? if it was an unknown, what would be the
point? i can't wait to hear the tracks!

it's that call call call call.. thing from lobster tracks.

i cn't find it right now, it's difficult to pay attention on

i doubt that aphex has reached a level that will never be
matched or surpassed. music evolves and new inovative
artists emerge. it could be richard, but i'm not attmepting
top guess and i think it's silly to think that it's him just
by the quality.

I got proof ;)

TA TA!!!! Astrobtnia is a comp of Rephlex artists :) I got
this from some a dope source (my delf).

Astrobotnia: Bogdan, Ovuca, Cylob, AFX etc who made some
music for a comp called Astrobotnia (Ovuca came up with the
idea and name).

collaborations?

could be someone outside IDM trying their luck at something
new, and it seems to have worked rather well

If u went to the WARP MAGIC BUS TOUR and saw Ovucas
set.....then u realize Ovuca is Astrobotnia, his whole 46
min set was only Astrobotnia tracks, and it was not a DJ
set, it was a live gig.

BOTH THE LIVE SETs he did in Berlin and Munich was just
Astrobotnia stuff.

Hmmmm let me think if u make a live gig I suppose you play
your onw music???

OVUCA = ASTROBOTNIA

Yeah thanks! I've always wanted to check it out but have
been strapped for cash.

BTW according to a bbc article Astrobotnia is a guy not
everyone. Here i'll do the ol copy and paste and give the
link!

Astrobotnia, Part 01
(Rephlex)
Is this or isn't this a secret release from Richard D. James
masquerading under a different name?

Is this or isn't this a secret release from Richard D. James
masquerading under a different name?

Recent rumours suggested that it's actually fellow Rephlex
recording artist Ovuca, as was apparently announced before a
recent Rephlex night in New York; yet scanning the various
message boards and newsgroups on the internet, it seems that
nobody wants to rule out some involvement from Mr. James,
either due to the sheer similarity in sound or perhaps from
a desperate need to hear something new from the Cornish
superstar.

Rephlex told us that it's not actually Aphex (the album
would have been released under the AFX title if it was,
apprently) but rather the work of one Kristian Richards
(apparently dispelling the Ovuca rumour), who seems to be a
new artist on the roster making his debut on the label.
Regardless of how good a marketing move you might think all
of this secrecy and tomfoolery is, the fact remains that
Astrobotnia Part 01 is a pretty credible and interesting
release even though it sounds a lot like something Richard D
James would have been involved with.
