unpopular Mike Paradinas....? !?!? !?

I just saw Phobs other thread. So it's just the Rephlex'ers
who know who it is. But if it's because we should judge just
by the music, I still think it's AFX.

complex triple album.

Why?

They release the music. If you like it you like it.

Points: 1780 Status: Regular | Followup to ecnadniarb: #01207227

sure, that's the music end

buy why make everything a guessing game with hidden messages
in bonus bleepy tracks and "who's behind the release"
garbage?

it's sophmoric

ovuca has gone on record saying that astrobotnia is his
work

why go around decieving people and playing tricks on people
who buy your releases and put food on your table?

(i think) their main aim is to release good music. if it
involves deliberately divulgent or non descript descriptions
of the artiists so be it. you have a choice, believe or
don't believe, but enjoy or don'' enjoy their music. i, for
one, applaud their stance. it's something different. they
are challenging you to "believe" the music is by someone
when it is not.

Small label / limited budget / releasing almost completely
unknown artists and managing to create a minor media buzz
when they do it. Sure it helps that Mr James and you can't
blame them your playing on that.

They play the marketing game, and play it rather well. To
get wound up is a bit pointless.

If Astrobotnia had been announced as Mr P in the first place
then it wouldn't hav had anywhere near the hype that it had.

i still listen to it at leats a few times a week

top 10 id say.

yah its pretty good, to my ears though its a bit samey. some
good ideas and sounds in it, but after 3 records i think it
gets spread pretty thin.

Rephlex can't announce they are releasing a ghosts work. So
bigup to Ovuca for running with it.

i doubt rephlex would release music of someone without any
sense in fashion. i mean that blue thing he's wearing on his
head doesn't match the red dots on his underpants at all.
and why does he wear a belt for?? ovuca looks fancy though.

Oh yes...all Rephlex artists have excellent fashion sense.
Maybe why they don't want the 2pac connection known?

Have you ever thought of that?
