also, this is streaming on itunes, so doesn't really qualify
as a "leak"

74 minutes of soft-core vocoded porn music

The album is not very good but not as bad as expected.
Better then HAA. I like Giorgio and the two last songs, and
also some others. The only very bad ones are those with
Pharrell.

Does anyone ever get busted for leaking albums? Like,
mixing engineers, or what the fuck. I once saw a pirated
version of Deuce Bigalow Male Gigolo, and it was so
internally-leaked, that there was timecode, no music, and
the sound was from the camera with no redone sound shits.
But it was post-editing, obviously. So what the fuck.

It is kinda sad how many people here dislike Daft Punk
suddenly, tho they released very good music in the 90's. I
am one of these people so I don't really care about their
new record all that much.

I listened to the leaked version of Radiohead's Hail To The
Thief until i bought a copy last year. I still like the
leaked unmastered version better/different.

Listening to TRON Legacy music now..... Fucking epic shit.
I was a fan of their classic output, but TRON Legacy is some
legit master level lazer fuck, man.

Haven't listened to ze leaked album, but... Fucking TRON
Legacy. If anyone capable of this eventually wrote shit,
it's prolly cuz the pop world energies went up their butts
or whatever. Or WHATEVER.

Dyudez- I'M ON THE GRID NOW DYUUUUUDEZ!!!!!

i'm pretty disapointed actually. there are some good track,
but the last half of the album are only fillers.
i give it a 5/10

offline EpicMegatrax from Greatest Hits on 2013-05-14 22:52 [#02456711]
Points: 25264 Status: Regular

yeah. track khrimson posted is like... there's pretty much
nothing there. a looped sample going through a vocoder
melody that just walks up and down the scale; may as well be
an arp instead of programmed... some sparse bass kicks and
claps, then later in the track the looped vocal sample comes
back clean on top of the vocoder. i guess this is how they
take it up a level

really shine in HQ, with all the attention they seem to
have paid to the recording process.

Are there a lot of fakes? I checked the Giorgio Moroder
track and it sounded like really off, I don't get why it's
named like that if it's not a fake because it doesn't sound
anything like Moroder, I don't get the reference.

though, this version on yt is great:

that one's much better than the track khrimson posted. maybe
i will listen to the rest of this (human) after all.

i think they had kavinsky write this song, but kavinsky had
to call up mr. oizo 'cos he couldn't remember how to change
synthesizer presets in logic. so oizo gets co-producer. but
it's good to finally know the ghost writers behind the daft
punk helmets

Hated it.Sounded like corporate musak.yukky and horrid
HOWEVER theyre getting on a bit,got loads of biscuit in the
bank...let them have their self indulgent,and frankly,lazy
wank.
I know this will go down like a shit sandwich for die hard
daft punkers out there but honestly...theres a few tracks on
there that left me thinking this is what happens when
musical theatre and too many listens to the war of the
worlds soundtrack have a shit...this is the result.
