this warp pricing and especially shipping costs to conus are
getting utterly out of hand.

why are they doubling shipcosts if i add 2 copies of the
release to my cart - to be shipped via the same
package/order...

I fell in love with oversteps, as for move of ten, it took a
shroom trip to make me see the amazing complexity. It's cool
that these guys are still at their game, releasing. afx is
what, a dj now? and boc is still working on their new album.
i want more bola :(

elusive, you just haven't been clear enough about how many
copies of the album you ordered. the situation is a complete
mess and you need to explain yourself straight away.

wanted to order extra copies for friends to share shipping
and bleep is charging the full shipping price per copy.
ouch.

they have not put much thought or logic into the price
structures, it looks like it would be cheaper for someone in
eu to spend between £30-49 than it would be for me in uk.
the only benefit in uk is for over £50 with free delivery.

The release of a new Autechre album is always an event. And
it starts earlier every time.

I think he is fucking with you mate

There were rumors about a live autechre cd, but even if this
does have a "live feel", do you really think they are going
to put out a double live cd? Ive listened to it no less than
20 times and there isnt one crowd clap clap clap clap clap
at all.

There is also no redbull and no thansk.

offline sadist from the dark side of the moon on 2012-12-26 15:16 [#02446491]
Points: 8670 Status: Lurker

well it is rather rare to release a live electronic album
with the actual crowd mixed in. i would expect it to be
recorded directly from the mixer output.

as for the double cd, imho there were more than enough
awesome moments during their live shows to fill even more
than 2 cds.

"as for the double cd, imho there were more than enough

I hear ya mahn! Im not saying I wouldnt buy it, I would, but
I just dont see it happening, not a double cd alteast :)

Maybe 1st cd is abstract sound bathing and the 2nd cd is
more tribal tech glitch mayhem. They could write music like
their live set and have it recorded and mixed down properly,
so it just sounds like that live style rather than actually
being a unmixed raw recording.

when i heard it the first thought i had was it sounded like
a studio re-working of bits and pieces from the Quaristice &
Oversteps live tour. I would be thrilled if the album was
simply mastered direct board recordings of their best
versions of either tour.

Took a peep over at watmm and was sad to find we suck at
being excited. There's 50 page Exai threads where there's
actual fun! Photoshops (one very ood one) speculation and
general happiness. And us? We're all way too cool aren't we?
Or wait, i keep forgetting only about 8 of us post here.

XLT, being WATMM's estranged husband, has better things to
be doing, especially as most of us count Ae amongst our
close personal friends and we've already got the fucking
thing.

the mythical watmm.com fan-invention mythical AE album
'Kiosk' . Japanese bonus track title: 'Keyosc'
