I think my fear of people stopped me from enjoying life in
the past. It is like a huge chunk of time which i never
fully lived, because of all the fears inside me. There is an
invisible barrier between me in the rest of the world. It is
not something i can verbally describe very well, it is just
a mass of pictures that cause a certain loneliness when i
think about them.

we all live in our own personal microcosms and shout at each
other over oceans of misunderstanding etc.

board to post on instead.

Pick one:

1. Apathetic, indifferent, remote, solitary. Neither desires
nor need human attachments. Minimal awareness of feelings of
self or others. Few drives or ambitions, if any.

2. Hesitant, self-conscious, embarrassed, anxious. Tense in
social situations due to fear of rejection. Plagued by
constant performance anxiety. Sees self as inept, inferior,
or unappealing. Feels alone and empty.

3. Somber, discouraged, pessimistic, brooding, fatalistic.
Presents self as vulnerable and abandoned. Feels valueless,
guilty, and impotent. Judges self as worthy only of
criticism and contempt.

4. Helpless, incompetent, submissive, immature. Withdraws
from adult responsibilities. Sees self as weak or fragile.
Seeks constant reassurance from stronger figures.

5.Dramatic, seductive, shallow, stimulus-seeking, vain.
Overreacts to minor events. Exhibitionistic as a means of
securing attention and favors. Sees self as attractive and
charming.

6. Egotistical, arrogant, grandiose, insouciant. Preoccupied
with fantasies of success, beauty, or
achievement. Sees self as admirable and superior, and
therefore entitled to special treatment.

7. Impulsive, irresponsible, deviant, unruly. Acts without
due consideration. Meets social obligations only when
self-serving. Disrespects societal customs, rules, and
standards. Sees self as free and independent.

8. Explosively hostile, abrasive, cruel, dogmatic. Liable to
sudden outbursts of rage. Feels selfsatisfied
through dominating, intimidating and humiling others. Is
opinionated and closeminded.

9. Restrained, conscientious, respectful, rigid. Maintains a
rule-bound lifestyle. Adheres closely to social conventions.
Sees the world in terms of regulations and hierarchies. Sees
self as devoted, reliable, efficient, and productive.

10. Resentful, contrary, skeptical, discontented. Resist
fulfilling others’ expectations. Deliberately inefficient.
Vents anger indirectly by undermining others’ goals.
Alternately moody and irritable, then sullen and withdrawn

offline khrimson from the fridge on 2012-10-28 11:35 [#02443733]
Points: 1757 Status: Regular

11. Deferential, pleasure-phobic, servile, blameful,
self-effacing. Encourages others to take advantage.
Deliberately defeats own achievements. Seeks condemning or
mistreatful partners.

12. Guarded, defensive, distrustful and suspiciousness.
Hypervigilant to the motives of others to undermine or do
harm. Always seeking confirmatory evidence of hidden
schemes. Feels righteous, but persecuted.

13. Eccentric, self-estranged, bizarre, absent. Exhibits
peculiar mannerisms and behaviors. Thinks can read thoughts
of others. Preoccupied with odd daydreams and beliefs. Blurs
line
between reality and fantasy.

14. Unpredictable, manipulative, unstable. Frantically fears
abandonment and isolation. Experiences rapidly fluctuating
moods. Shifts rapidly between loving and hating. Sees self
and others alternatively as all-good and all-bad.

when this sort of monoid shit comes at you, there's a set of
best practices. in order of phase:

1) genuinely consider their situation and offer honest
advice. it's possible no one else has done them the courtesy
before

2) if the they accept the honest advice, but do not act on
it, the only way they'll advance is if you make them a
personal project; crack the whip. if they don't accept the
honest advice, it's best left alone.

3) if they don't accept the honest advice, yet continually
seek out your support, then they're living in la la land: a
dream of what they could be, which they float off into, to
escape what they actually are.

I answered this already in another thread. Right now i want
justice for the things i had to endure in court. To acchieve
this i probably need more power. More power means i need
more money. I also want people to do things for me, if i
verbally tell them to do them.

Monoid, you are afraid. i can feel it.

I can smell your ass-sweat from here. Your daddy must have
been a grumpy ol bastard who never showed you the world
and/or your mommy was silent, obedient or not able to show
emotions or even cold as a witches tit. Your parents fucked
u up boy. They didnt damage you or somthing, they just
showed you the wrong way of living. They didnt know it
better.

Happens to many people in different degrees. But you are
also an introvert. You dont naturally confront people with
your thoughts, which might have helped you out of your
dilemma.

now forget about it and stop being you. Your brain must have
already been stopped changing. Time is running boy.

After 30 years it starts to shut off. U can read as much as
you want, understand as much as u want. You wont learn easy.
Its mostly information, that you just replay. In your head.
The trick is to get back to playmode. Fool around. Maybe you
have never done that before you love alien. Get out and do
something funny. Dance in the streets. Go to see something
in your town/village/...

I can feel that your world is getting smaller and smaller.
The pressure is getting bigger and bigger. The space your
living in becomes so little that at one point you might
explode from heat, caused by walking the same paths over and
over... faster and faster. my god, u must have constant
panic attacks in packed trains. Or you are already done with
that and not able too feel anything anymore.

Its hard to get out of that, but If you would start to learn
something for yourself it would be like gold, i guarantee.

"I will put enmities between thee and the woman, and thy
seed and her seed; she shall crush thy head, and thou shalt
lie in wait for her heel."

יְהוֹיָק
Joachim ("he whom YHWH has set up", Hebrew:
460;ים Yəhôyāqîm, Greek
Ἰωακείμ
Iōākeím) was the husband of Saint Anne and the
father of Mary, the mother of Jesus according to the Roman
Catholic, Orthodox, and Anglican traditions. The story of
Joachim and Anne first appears in the apocryphal Gospel of
James. Joachim and Anne are not mentioned in the Bible.

YAWN!

Nice to see you found the box Monoid belongs to.

The whole parents thing is bordering on rude (the use of
mummy and daddy for example) and is a massive cliché.

Monoid an introvert? All he fucking does is moan all day
about his horrible life which he'll never better because he
clearly doesn't want to. He doesn't have aspergers, he's
just a wimp.

Anyway he's still the best dupe i've ever come across on the
internet.

offline Monoid from one source all things depend on 2012-10-31 04:45 [#02443851]

Seriously, my parents were okay. I didn't like my dad. I
have a very good relationship with my mother.
I am also not really a wimp. In the past i confronted
severally people with the thoughts in my head and my
opinions. I however don't want to live in a constant war
zone.
It seems to me, that being 'nice' open and friendly, is much
more difficult for me.
That doesn't mean that fighting and arguing with people is
always bad.

I feel like your feeling on a regular basis. It's very
uncomfortable when it comes between you and your needs.
My social fear was quite a silly experience to get over. I
wore silly hats, and clothes that challenged my over all
"ego"
I found this to be an essential learning experience in many
other areas to me.
maybe make yourself a little uncomfortable...in a good way.
Watch a movie you wouldn't really watch on the regular and
take it seriously... and see what you learned from it.
Maybe you found a certain type of comedy that make you
bellow out in laughter.
who knows.
find out.
