ive got made with my trio-band exported in separated tracks-loops () and id really like to have some crazy versions of it. i already got the amazing chihiro-malek boom one, and another one by my friends from mallorca Neotokyo, but id like a couple more to make a bandcamp decent album. anyone want to give it a try? the more different to the original the better. original bpm is 94. thank you! PS. we are putting an album together with some studio tunes we did, and selling it in 'name your price' format. in the very remote case that we get enough money, we will be editing it (and best remixes) on CD or vinyl. So its more just for the love of creating, but maybe youll have it in physical format someday ;) take your time, and post your mixes here or send to melack27 at hotmail dot com . thank you very much! |

obbie, that deserves an own bandcamp by itself, with explanation and everything! i will totally do that, if you dont mind, and then choose one or a couple or three of the mixes for the 'regular' release. loving both robbie eleck mixes, first specially after bloody cellphone comes in, im a bit tired of the hidden sounds, and i enjoy more when it doesnt sound at all like my sounds / mix of the track. second is perfect as it its, direct, powerful and intense. also liked the dub-ambient version, that would make a nice album ending. great metal craziness on sven skutersen's, but i think that one too hard for general listeners. sexi beats+bass on han shans weirdub, loving the groove. hell yeah mix goes in last position, too similar to original sound, but ambient glitch voice madness at the ending is nice. + great hilarious overall feeling (i really had a laugh on some places) + amazing variability of styles. It totally reminds me the spirit of ventolin remixes... im gonna need wav files to upload to bandcamp. dyou preffer sending me all the files on wav, or just the one chosen for the 'regular' release and i just reformat the rest myself from mp3? as you wish, but i want at least the chosen ones on wav! thank you very much, obbi! <3 |

yea, i told that on my first post... sorry, i didnt originally made those loops for remixing, just to jerk on abbletonlive. but then i was talking to chihiro about music making and i decided to send him those files. and i loved his work, so i decided to ask for more versions. and im sure people is able to create music with just loops, and maybe its easier not to stick so much to the original tracks that way... |

is hard to choose any of your mixes alone, robbie, as they work better one after another, as a whole continuous session... i will pass them to my band mates to decide together, by now i would chose the two robbie eleckt mixes to play one after another, and maybe also king obby monster dub |

the tune is called Hidden, hedphuk, its like youre remixing the whole band, in your soundcloud :P You can also choose a name for your remix, if you want, as it will look like this in the release: Hidden mixes : - Head over heels - original mix - Malek boom - boom mix2 - Robbie eleckt - bloody cellphone mix - Lobie - ???? mix etc if not it will just rest '-Lobie remix', but i like giving more presence to the artist/band, as you people are making very personal things... |

sure, still waiting for 3 remixes (ampi & diazo, you doing something, arent you?), althought i dont know if samples are up anymore... no, they are not. i will reupload them on the net and provide a link here later, sadist! as we are still working in the artwork (my band mate is kind of obsessive with it and dont let me do whatever i want grrr), that will take some time to be finished yet. so still some weeks for supplying remixes. |

well i'm definitely doing this. although i expected completely different samples there are a few sketches i made that might end in something. although i am a little sad that i had to add a drumloop as i'm usually trying to stay bound to the original samples without anything anything artificial. ah well it doesn't sound bad until now. |

um - i just listened to the original for the first time and something occured to me : is there any particular reason those plucked samples aren't included in the pack ? these might come in very handy in fact. |

by plucked samples you mean the harpsicord melody entering at the middle of the tune? Well, they arent included in the pack because i originally exported those samples to jerk on live and let my band mates play over it. I guess i could export the melody line for you, but that would maybe not be fair for other remixes who didnt have it neither... |
