soundboard measn 2 things:

direct recording of a live gig/set from a stereo output of
the soundboard/mixer that the artist uses.

or a collection of quotes or clips of a well-known
actor/resses' voice for the use of prank calls or other
forms of activities.

sweet. so how was it, like more funny than serious? A lot
like the Kill Bill style? Break it down if possible.

Its either this or 'The Time Travellers Wife' on my free
cinema pass tomorrow. The trailers for this looked horrible,
but the reviews have been pretty good.

this was the only film i have seen in my life that i walked
out of watching out for people over my shoulders. It's a
threatening movie. I was pleased with the excitement that it
gave me, but it was almost too much, especially where i
live, the people in my theater were getting a little too
excited.

offline pulseclock from Downtown 81 on 2009-08-21 18:33 [#02317232]

I love the hinted symbolism in the movie too. I really like
a lot of Tarantino's movies, they're like well-produced
amateur concept films if that makes sense. Like a well
produced youtube channel.

at the end of the movie where I saw the credits cut right
after it said "Written and directed by Quentin Tarantino"
and the lights weren't turned on for like 20 seconds. we all
sat there in silenced quite creeped out (having in mind what
happened in the movie and all).

:D

haha that sounds creepy as hell. Were i saw it, (with mostly
younger people) people just started yelling like "Holy
Fuck!" or "daaaamn"

It's just, all the characters in that movie really
delivered. Everything about the movie was extraordinary. It
was gruesome enough to be compared to the SAW movies or gore
flicks, yet interesting enough to be a great movie.

that's my review

9/10

i thought it was wank.

didnt keep me entertained, wasnt near graphic enough, didnt
enjoy the score that much.

and the fact it cost me near 20 quid for a film, popcorn,
juice and a kit fucking kat is hienous.

very disapointed.

offline Jarworski from The Grove (United Kingdom) on 2009-08-22 06:48 [#02317331]

I can see why it's got mixed reviews. I thought some parts
were drawn out to the point of agony, and it was all just a
re-tread style wise of Pulp Fiction and Kill Bill.

£20? I paid £3.10, not including the donuts!

yeah like £18 and a bit, mates booked up a row in the

thats my cinema going experience forfilled for the next year

nah j/k gonna watch tonight

i've been to the extra's casting with some friends, but i
suppose we didn't have the looks for Tarantino's vision of
Nazi guys.

In order for hating tarantino to become passé, he would
have to produce something that isn't just the same pulp
fiction formula rehashed again and again, you know, make
something watchable to prove that hes actually beyond
reproach. I think pulseclock's assessment is pretty solid. I
had never thought of tarantino's films as "well-produced
amateur concept films" but I think that's a good way of
looking at them. They're just not for me.

offline AMPI MAX from United Kingdom on 2009-08-22 13:52 [#02317383]

substance of film.

film talk.

offline Terence Hill from Germany on 2009-08-22 19:14 [#02317508]
Points: 2070 Status: Lurker

it had its moments, some laughs, some thrills.... that's for
the good.
the dialogs in German, there were a lot of them, were
pretty bad. The characters were more bland then in other
Tarantino films, and they couldn't deliver their stereotypes
properly either, which was the biggest disappointment. Col.
Landa was okay though. It was incredibly boring at times.

conclusion: totally meh.

become godawful. For that reason, I can barely watch his
movies anymore.
