Your first afx item?

What was the first aphex twin item you ever bought. My
first introduction was Caustic Window 10 years ago. I feel a
lot of nostalgia for old afx.

Like many I had a tape of AFX tracks before I even realised
who it was (or even that they were all the same guy)...

Bought Didge EP on R&S..Put 2 and 2 together as some was on
the tape & bingo....10 years of AFX love...

Not many artists have kept my interest for that amount of
time...It's great he can still released stuff like Drukqs
and hasn't got all stale...

his work on Further Down the Spiral. After that my first
purchase was RDJ Album. Then the rest followed.

i had a track of his that appeared on an excursions in
ambience II comp. it included bands like Grain, FSOL, AIR
(not the same as the french Air though i think) it was
released by astralworks i think. The track was off of the
UK version of SAWII. I cant remember what track it was
though... i'll haveto look when i get home.
Later i got the NIN further down the spiral track 'at the
heart of it all'.
then ICBYD

SAW I, way back in 1993... it was one of those records that
changed my life.

Black Celebration by Depeche Mode was another one of those
transformative records but that was back in 1986...

*grin!* Thank you, trønder! This MB has turned out very
nice! I'm not new to this site, tho... I know a few people
in Trondheim! Nice town, indeed

enda mer....

(damn, du ligner faktisk litt på Rich....)

Phresch is speaking to Co-existence in their own language.
This morning in the same topic i met a boy also from Belgium
who lives not far away from me. We have discussed also in
our language:=)

utesteder for enhver smak. Studere kan du gjøre her

Relativt
sjelden her....

offline Co-existence from Bergen (Norway) on 2002-04-02 16:14 [#00154929]
Points: 3388 Status: Regular

Funkstörung, Luke Vibert, Plastickman, Steve Stoll, Carl

musikkstiler.....

Further down the spiral with teh aphex tracks on it, then
SAW II back in like 94-95. I too once was an aphex
worshipper, until I realized theres many more people out
there with 100 times more talent that deserve a website such
as this one.
