mind you, we're not talking strictly re-mixing here, as you
most probably don't have access to someone's master tapes,
to fuck around with individual tracks/ channels, so we're
talking reconstruction here. And you can do it in a shitload
of programs. You can even do it in soundforge even if it
isn't it's main aim.

oh, uh, sorry woofer, I forgot that in the civilised part of
the world you can't just get these commercial programs
practically for free, like here in Yugoslavia... If you want
I can burn a disk with a lot of soundprocessing comercial
and freeware stuff and send it to you.

I asked the NAME of some program for make good remix. Cubase
could be a right answer... the other are wrongs answers. Do
you understand what I mean?

there are lots of progs...
Cool Edit Pro, GoldWave, etc.. -> Wave Editors
ACID Pro, Reason, Sound Club -> Arranger

The rest is just creativity I guess! :)

You can get some samples off a song with a wave editor, then
use some arranger to add your own samples...

You can get Sound Club 2.0 there... it's freeware
