I had some pretty good microbrew honey blond last night. The nut brown ale was flat though.
Ah, imperial stout. It's the steak of beer.

1) Leinenkugel sunset wheat 2) Newkie (newcastle) browns 3) Orange Blossom Pilsner, best orange honey beer I've had. 4) blue moon 5) black and blue (guinness + blue moon) 6) stella
I think 6 is enough for now, though I could list several more favorites. :)

i drink MGD here cause it's pretty much the only beer without perservatives, so no hangover = great. as for this german beer (frankenheim), it's the best I've ever had. In germany it's illegal to use preservatives, in effect since like the 1800's. That's great.

At the liquor store down the street they let me buy these big bottles that say 211 on them. Says right hurr that it be brewed for 28 days, arrr. I promised my doctor and my family I'd quit drinking, but at two dollars a pop, I can't afford to say no! It's that time of year for me it says. Happy holidays, you all!

Apart from all the usual stuff, I like some less common beers:
I've found a local pub, which sells Tribute and that is currently my absolute favourite tipple of choice...
"Tribute is a magnificent example of a bronze coloured English bitter, with a rich aroma of biscuity malt and tart citrus fruit from the Willamette hops. Juicy malt, hop resins and tangy fruit coat the tongue, while the finish is long and lingering, with a fine balance between malt, hops and fruit, finally becoming dry and bitter"
Another unusual one I love is Cains FA from Liverpool. They sell it mail order in massive 2 pint cans! Sometimes you can see it in decent pubs, mostly free houses. Maybe it's more common in Liverpool? I live down south.
I also really like Becks alcohol free. It's great because you can have it whenever you like and not be an alcoholic.
I discovered it when I was on antibiotics for 2 weeks and couldn't drink, so I drank that instead. My friends called me an alcoholic, which was rather amusing. I think they mean "beeraholic".
It's perfect when you fancy a beer but are unable to consume alcohol.
I refuse to put anything in any order, because sometimes I want a lager, others an IPA, others a bitter, other times a cider.
Everyone who is saying Heineken, I hope you mean the old 3% version, not the new 5% rubbish one.

I recomend a beer called Innis and Gun
It is layered on old oak whiskey barrels wich gives it a hint of whiskey aroma. Im not a big whiskey drinker but i really like this beer. Very special flavor.

ha...you are right, steele reserve is almost undrinkable. Might as well buy two 24oz cans of CAMO for 1 dollar.

My friends and I had a week-long stint with Steel Reserve in which we were convinced it was the best value for strong beer around. We'd go as far as to say it tasted good. We eventually realized, of course, that it had just been melting our taste buds off, and the 8% ABV was enough to keep us (forgive the pun) hammered into submission while preventing us from applying too much critical though. I guess it's good for people who don't want to spend much on beer, but I would recommend staying away from the stuff. To be honest, I don't even want to know how they got such a cheap beer up to 8% ABV. *shudder*
