Trailer released this month. I predict this game will rock
cock.

*exclusive* you play as 'Tito LeMoonshine', a rebel scouser
whos maturity reflects the aging fans of the series.

I've been playing Crackdown on the xbox 360.... it's fun..
but I still miss my GTA gaming fun... motorcycles and
shooting out car windows is way way way too much fun.

I hope they keep some cool cheat codes in the game... I'd
heard somewhere that more game programmers are removing the
cheats because it limits the "lifespan" of the game.

i miss gta 1's gameplay, still the best in the series.

Exciting news, can't wait to to see what kind of setting it
is. And I hope they get rid of cheats, everytime someone
wants to play GTA Trilogy on my 360 they just fuck around
with codes and killing people, I hate that.

all i want to see in this game is:

online play in the same style as the multiplayer in san
andreas (or better somehow)

achievements awards

better graphics

more interactable environments

everything else can be similar to before.

I think the best answer for programmers concerned in this
way would be to just not release the cheats for a couple of
years after release. I remember with goldeneye, there were a
couple of cheats that Rare kept quiet about until the game
had been out for 4 years.

It's not very good. It's a very basic co-op mode that
requires you to stay far too near each other. I think he
might mean the PSP GTA games' brilliant multiplayer mode.

looking tired. I want a fresh new look for GTA4.

I also want more porn.

I want a focus on wanton destruction based on physics. And a
way to replay individual missions without playing the ENTIRE
GAME over again. A mission selection feature after beating
the game or something.

Sounds odd I know, but I'd love to see a Parisian one. Lots
of gangs, plenty of great iconic landmarks (not to mention
be able to use the tower as a reference point to
navigate/great sniping spot), mad winding little roads as
well as the rush hour peripherique traffic and the lunacy
that is the Arc de Triomphe roundabout. Hell, there's even
quite a lot of graffiti there!

realised if rockstar really did make a european gta, they
would most likely find a way to make it good.

Yes, set in the months following the break up of the USSR,
with ex-kgb agents vying for power and the local maffia
controlling everything. Could be a nice twist setting it in
winter and having the countryside linking everything (like
in San Andreas) covered in snow, so you would have to use
skis/skidus/4x4s to trek cross country off road to get
between areas.

How about setting part of it in London too? Then you'd have
to remember to dodge the congestion charge and not to use
the Bus Lanes etc. I'd also like to drive up to my workplace
and wreak carnage.

Yes, I liked the original GTA London. I'd want the crims to
have outrageous sarf london and east end accents. Needless
to say you would need to have corrupt politicians to deal
with too. Good scope for speedboats up the Thames. Nice
potential for effective "moral outcry" publicity with a
mission seeing you blow up parliament, too. Plus there's the
added realism that in London you can undertake a bus
at 50 in a 30, in full view of coppers and not have them bat
an eyelid, so long as you don't clip anything.

How about a "London, Paris, NY" one? You travel between the
3 cities by jet?

i'd like to see the islands from gta3, vice and san andreas
all on one disc just as an area to piss about and mess with
the cops in normal gta style.
as for gta4, whether or not id prefer one big detailed city
or several cities... i'm not all too sure.
as long as it doesnt suck and theres some nice country side
to drink lemonade in, i'm happy.

I rememeber reading about a fan project (for the PC) that
combined the Vice and Liberty Cities. As to whether they
have since added the San Andreas ones, I'm not sure, might
be worth checking out though.

I think it'd be a good "disc 2", a sort of 'playpen' area to
mess about in with lots of weapons/armour scattered about
and maybe even a survival mode (a bit like Max Payne 2's
one) where you have to see how long you can survive in the
city being hounded by police.

Opheck's comment about replaying missions is right, that's
long overdue.

Max Payne... R.I.P. :_-(

Pigster- I definitely want more than one city, I really
liked cruising through the country in San Andreas. Playing
the older games makes me feel confined now. I liked zooming
through wooded hilly areas, but this time I'd just like them
to add a few more points of interest to the countryside to
shake up my rural excursions. Some hikers and campers to
slaughter, Sasquatch, hunters, more sheds and barns with
hidden shit in them, waterfalls, etc.

Plus I really liked the off-road races in the woods, I want
more of that shit. I want it to feel like Rallisport
Challenge 2. In rally cars or all-terrain vehicles or
whatever.

hahaha, that happened to my brother every single time he
took the controller when we first got the game. he'd just
get a car, drive out to the most remote area in the game and
accidently crash it, and spend all this time trying to find
some road again... good fun.
but really, it would be criminal if gta4 didnt have country.

Thank grud it's not out for the PC in a while (or is it?). I
just heard about Armed Assault (next Operation Flashpoint)
and I'm probably going to play it forever as I did with
OFP.. Then there's the Project Reality mod for Battlefield
2, which is addictive. Using VOIP with strangers is
..strange, but the squad gameplay is just awesome. Armed
Assault should have proper multiplayer this time too.
