oh, wait

there's a spell checker built in suddenly.. it underlines
wrongly spelled words with red! awesome! Now I just need a
Norwegian spell checker as well so that I don't get red
lines all the time when I'm writing in Norwegian...

i keep going to the far right of the tab bar to close a
tab.. don't like how that's been changed, even if the 'x'
button's replacement holds a better purose.

also, the options menu is still not resizable for me.. :/

display options in options

i can't see that, probably because my bloody options window
isn't big enough.

keyboard is falling apart too. have to keep 'b' in the
clipboard so i can paste it as i type ... :/

anyone got an apple powerbook to sell?

in mine, it's under the tab in the tab settings called
display options and then there's a drop-down menu that lets
you select where the close tab button should be... I've got
a tab browser plug-in installed for more options, though...

i think tabs are the way forward i find it more efficient to
dance between tabs rather than windows because it is much
quicker. i think the fact that every other browser copying
this also reflects their popularity. i often have about 4 or
5 tabs open at once.

funny how firefox 2 > ie 7

how many of the "most popular" extensions have been updated
to v2.0 so far ?

i think i'll wait a bit, until 2.1 or 2.2 comes out. let
peeps update all the plugins first

offline uzim on 2006-10-25 15:41 [#01992586]

i updated, didn't notice any difference as well apart from
the spell checker (which i disabled right away). well, it
was ok before, it's ok now... and it's just a web browser
anyway.

but i'll try opera and see.

i've found an annoying bug in Firefox 2; sometimes i won't
be able to type, or even delete, anything anymore in a box
(like the one i'm typing this in right now), it would just
get "stuck" (even if i reload the page).

trying Opera now... seems good enough. but i miss the
"remove everything" feature from a Firefox plugin (you'd
right-click on anything and be able to remove it), is there
a way to do this on Opera?

does anyone have any idea why there now are two different
boxes for saving files and why the one appears in certain
cases and the other in other cases? Like, I usually get the
"open with.. & save as.." box, but sometimes I get another
smaller box that'll only allow me to save as or cancel... it
doesn't make any sense.
