Just curious but what responsabilities do you have each
day? I'm trying to figure wether personally i have more or
less then the average 19 year old. Personally i believe i
have more. Having to cook and clean for myself and pretty
much take care of any problems on my own.

(hehe ophecks cant wait for your post)

I have to go to school, and I help out around the house,
shopping...pretty typical teenage shit.

I do pretty much everything for myself, I just don't pay the
bills.

Right now my main responsibilites are to show up to class,
do homework, do well on tests, and to survive on my own of
course.

I used to have a lot of responsibility at my job. i worked
as a master control operator at the college's TV station. I
would sit at a console and program the tapes for the airing
that night, make sure they cue and play on air at the
correct times. One screw up and you'd hear about it from a
lot of people. Stressful at times.

or something too.

I do just about nothing outside of school and homework. I do
some housework, but nothing on a regular basis.
Occassionally my mum will just say, "Dane can you please
come do this for me" or whatever.

Ahhhh...this is a prety cool topic....

Lets see....I have to be into my office at 10:30pm to start
the night of dealing with doing tech support.
I work until 9am and than go home and try and sleep a couple
of hours.
Next I have to be up and at my other job, which is running
an after school program for kids ages 6-12...That is from
2:30pm - 6:00pm....
Than I get to come home and try and sleep a little more ...

Than I do it ALL again...
Aint life grand?... ;)

You know what, I have less than zero responsibilities. I'm
an only child and I haven't seen my dad since I was 5, so my
mom has made a point to SPOIL THE SHIT out of me!!! I'm not
complaining...

She buys me anything, cooks huge meals (I can't even boil
water, for christ's sake), does... well, pretty much
everything you can imagine. I'm very lazy, and I'm guilty of
kind of taking advantage of this fact... I do almost
nothing, ever... all I need to do is sleep, eat her
delicious food, go to school (which she pays for), and play
games and shit that she buys.

But hey, I'm not some thankless little bitch or something,
I'm a good kid if I do say so myself. :-) I don't think I've
ever done anything to really piss her off or spite her, so
she thinks I'm an angel. And I'm not useless... everyone I
know makes fun of me for having it so easy, and jokes that
I'm useless and have no future unless I DO something...
which is bull, this is the same people that spend their
weekends drunk and stoned and scrape by college with Ds and
have generic little blue collar ''jobs'' that any retard
could acquire on some job program or something... I'm not
missing much ''experience'', I'm a smart and shrewd and
clever little bastard (like my mommy), I'll do just just
fine, thanks.

But before I start doing shit, I'm just going to enjoy my
spoils. Hehe. And don't feel too sorry for my mom, I'm
pretty low maintenance nowadays... give me a PC and some
milk and I'm set.

I have to get up in the morning, go to my junior college
(depending on the day) or the public library so I can use
the computer for internet. I go home around 1ish, and take a
nap after I inject 2.5cc intramuscularly of Interferon,
which will put anyone to sleep.

I then eat some old salad and prepackaged shrimp alfredo
from major market, then I fall fast asleep in my
tree-trunk.,

I really hope i don't sound like a dad here, i'm old enough
to be one, but i'm not. I really really advise that you
should enjoy your life as much as you can from the age of
20ish to 30ish. Don't even think about settling down before
then unless you are totally sure about it.
Take a step back and look at your life every so often. Make
sur eyou are doind things that you enjoy, but not at the
expense of others. And make sure you are living up to your
potential. Everyone is good at something, so do what you are
good at.
And finally, whenever you have a problem or something that
concerns you, as long as you have done everything you can
about it, then DON'T WORRY about it. Because never ever in
the history of anyone anywhere has worrying ever helped!

makes it easy to be lazy
if i dont feel like going in, i dont

..doing boring repetative stuff for a little software
company (replying to customer emails, that sort of thing)
i got the job through my sister, who also works there and is
friends w/ my boss

my mom takes care of me
she cooks for me most of the time.. laundry is like half n
half

compared to others my age i guess im sort of in the
middle... not independant but definitly not spoiled either
