My biggest responsibility right now is to beat the original
Metroid for NES! I've never done that. The fate of space
depends on ME!

Yeah, but EMULATORS have save states... it may be cheating,
but these games are fucking HARD... funny how I used to
dominate them when I was 7, and now I'm 19 and can barely
make it throught the first level!

The music... is... amazing... the level I'm in now has this
psychotic melody in the background, I stood there listening
to it for 10 minutes, it really is great.

There's some great programs at Zophar.net if you're into
classic video game music... I listen to it almost as much as
I listen to ''real'' music, I'm weird like that. Meridian
Advance plays NES music, I'm using it right now. It's like
Winamp, only it plays music files ripped right from the
game. I have the Metroid music collection, and the fifth
track is so damn badass... And SNES Jukebox is awesome,
Super Nintendo music is brilliant!

Showing me age here but C64 and Atari 800 Xl musik always
sounds good to me - Warhawk on the Atari is great - Rob
Hubbard was a genius on the old 8 bit machines - 4 channel
mono stuff but really worth a listen if ye can find it
