Ok I started doing this today and have found out that my voice sounds really crap when recorded and played back :( Also my wicked impressions of 303's etc also sound crap when recorded and played back :( Has anyone else bothered with this yet? I've used EQ on vocals going in and played around with the volume of various parts to get tremolo and rhythmic effects, etc hope that isn't breaking the rules. Also is it ok to overdrive the mic by high vocal level (shouting) to distort voice then back off level and use it as a distorted bass sound? |
