All I can say that this thing is just ridiculous. Both sides have done things that are wrong. I think that might be the case as well.. certain extremists needed some sort of justification for more attacks and, as I said in that other post, people may be scared of protesting AGAINST the extremists, while they feel safe if they protest with them, and when they can be united in their anger, they probably let out some steam... there's another bit of hipocracy in this, btw.. the editor of the christian newspaper who printed the pictures here is one of the people fighting FOR a blasphemy-paragraph thingie in the norwegian law, yet he is blasphemous against mohammed... is there something wrong here? |

In Dutch it's called "spotprent" which is translated to "(political) cartoon" in English. spot means: satire, irony, ridicule, derision, mockery, sarcasm. prent means: picture, illustration, engraving / satirisch cartoon. Anyway, this whole issue is growing to an alarming extent I'm afraid of. |
