Words in "cliffs"

Hullo.

Is it just me, or is the text spoken by the female voice in
"cliffs" (Track 1, Selected Ambient Works Vol II) a
repetition of "fucked out of his head"?? I can't find any
reference to this on the net yet now that I have the idea in
my head that that's what she says, I can't hear it any other
way. How does everyone else hear it?

but it's still a beuatiful track. i think rich probably
altered his own voice though. you can do it with a bend or
pitch shifting pedal.

Thanks :)

Yeah it is beautiful. I love that album, it's the closest
I've found so far in my search for music with similar aims
as Brian Eno's masterpiece, Music for Airports.

i think it says
'fuck,
fuck,
fuck your rockstars.'
or either
'fuck,
fuck no.'
it sounds straight-up
like my friend malwinas
voice too while on acid.

I always thought it said "fuck now" "tiff" "tiff" "tiff"
"tiff"

also track 9 or 10 on disc 2 (the longest track on the
album) (us version) shows a rusty looking hole thing in the
booklet, has some lyrics I think....

They need to rerelease that in a 3 disc format, with little
paper sleeves that look like the vinyl packaging photos,
that would be cool...

Once he starts adding the really long delays later in the
song it always sounds to me like 'You'll be sorry you'll be
sorry you'll be sorry."

Another Aphex speech question:

On Girl Boy (£18 Snarerush Mix) its got that sample right
at the start - 'looking at the swans, hearing the birds
singing, watching the water go past in the canal", sounds
like ring modulation or some other analogue effect... and in
Come To Daddy (Little Lord Faulteroy Mix) its got the
exorcist style "watching the water go past in the canal".
The first one doesn't sound like him but the second one does
I think...

Anyone know anything about it?

and in

oh so that's what it says in that song, didn't even realize
it.

cool

I'm positive those sounds aren't saying "fucked out of his
head". Sometimes your imagination takes over, sort of like
when you're listening to a track with such a good flow that
you think you're hearing the hi-hat hit up a note every
second note.

this is a good page.

but in my opinion, there are no "lyrics" as such to cliffs.
they're just speech sounds.

as it says in the link i just posted, the samples in both
songs are from the film "Little Lord Faulteroy".

The only word in 'cliffs' is 'if'. FACT.

Although interestingly 'FFS' is also in it if you like
acronyms.
