by the way, you should actually patch up your site before
introducing it to a wider audience. you know, dead links
suck.

please do put something other than a discog on it though ,
if it were to have loads of interviews transcribed from old
magazines and generally content which you can't get in other
places then thumbs up. good luck in any case

There is already an excellent visual discography on the
Interweb. You could specialize in interviews and other text
articles.

yeah. find videos of sean and rob shopping in sainsburys or
something, give it the contemporary celeb trash site feel.

nah not really, have album covers, short samples, interviews
etc. on there. would be decent

i like the design a lot. simple but good-looking.
you need to fill the missing images on the discography
though : )
and it would be even better if they were clickable to show
them in larger size...
apart from that, keep adding articles, other content and
stuff; it's a good start!

Marc Weidenbaum: Thanks for agreeing to do the
interview.

Sean Booth: No problem.

Weidenbaum: Your record, Chiastic Slide, is probably going
to be listed as the number one electronic-music record of
1997 in Pulse!, the magazine that will publish a portion of
this interview.

Booth: What? That's fucking ridiculous.

lol

"2.12 Why is Kalpol Introl so short? (Incunabula track 1)

This track was originally longer than 3m18, but Autechre cut
it up several times
and it eventually became the intro to the album. They did,
however, play 15
minute versions of this track with beats in their live sets
around 1993/94."

Anyone got this?

Pitchfork: One last question. Umm, why do British people
roll joints that mix tobacco and weed? In California nobody
does that.

Autechre: Do you want a real, literal answer?

Pitchfork: Yeah.

Autechre: Spliff smoking came to England from the Caribbean,
and they roll their spliffs with tobacco.

Pitchfork: So it's not an economic thing.

Autechre: Partly that, and it becomes habit forming in a
different way, and it's consumed differently as a result.
Maybe it's that people don't want to get that wasted all the
time. People do things more slowly, over a long period, and
it gives you just a slight rounding of the edges.

Pitchfork: Thanks for that.

Autechre: Sure.

so wrong, we roll spliffs here all the time! mmmm, nothin
like a good L.

cx: autechre.nu and all it's content will be added to
xltronic.com. are you even aware that you're building a
concurrent site? ;)

also, autechre.nu will get online using the same
(nostalgia-)concept as aphextwin.nu (see link on the
mainpage).
