Just wondering, but if the donations from users exceed the
required amount for keeping the board online (presumably
$200 a month), does the difference carry over to the next
month?

I was thinking of contributing $2000 you see.

Well not really, but that would sort this board out for a
good 10 months.

If phobia had $1 for every time this question was asked he'd
have floated XLT on the stock exchange by now.

I don't care. Everything has probably been asked more than
once on this board as it's quite an old board now. You could
just answer the question but instead I get a predictably dim
post from you.

$20.. you do the math(s)... dim.

does the difference carry over to the next
month?

No. It doesnt appear so. It went over $100 last month which
was the limit

I think you will find the additional donations last month
went to the cost of the new server migration. Additional
amounts are normally carried forward as far as I am aware.

This site is an ingenious scam.

Yes, I will carry over anything above $149 to the next
month. However, just like I wrote in the "December
donations" thread, the costs for the migration was more than
$270 for November due to the fact I had to pay for both the
old and new server during the transition period plus an
additional setup fee. That's why the donation-meter was
resetted for December.

There are also quite many Premium Accounts expiring during
December.... I really hope they will renew their accounts!

so far: $30

So to keep it fair..... if donations does not cover the
expenses of $149 for the current month.... should i take the
difference and add it to the next month?

for example, Dec donations = $90, that would mean January
expenses = $149+$59 = $218

????

Makes sense. Do it that way.
Might as well have a whole page showing donation stats to
keep some people quiet as well.
