I reckon it is a fake - blatantly.

Phobs, perhaps you could ask one of your men at Rephlex to
shed a bit of light on this??

LAZY_ANALORD CD

7 tracks 26:17 min

analord 9 is about 12, 13 minutes so that must mean those
other tracks are quite short..hmm

That has to be fake.

Strange it's popping up now though.

I've a feeling there was a similar fake promo around the
time of analord being released. Said something about a radio
promo.

Ha!

itd be nice if some random radio station got that previous
promo and played it

strange ebay doesnt have a "report this item" link in the
item page

if it had it I would report it
as it is a bootleg and they sell it as a promo

fuck them

I suggested that perhaps it wasn't a good idea for him to be
selling fake bootlegs.

Hmm, see what happens.

ok, this is the response i had from him:

"it's official radio station promo CD that is available only
to people involved in industry"

Somehow I dont believe him.....

When I heard about this "promo CD" I did a bit of research
with the people I used to get promo radio releases from and
yes it is fake. Record companies don't really do promos
anymore they just put them on a password protected site.

record companies still do promos, ALL the time, just not as
many as they used to

they know that slsk will be a promo for them

I emailed Grant @ Rephlex this:

"Thought you might be interested in this.
If not, fair enough.

Dude says that it is a radio promo that was sent out to
people in "the industry only."

Ta, keep it real."

The response I got back was this:

he's lying it's fake, not enuf hours in the day to stop all
those pricks unfortunately, have to over rely on the ones
with discretion instead
peace out
g

So I guess that means that it is a load of bollocks
then!!!!!!!
