Hello friends, i finished a mix in wavelab a while back,

giginger for hosting... it's just over an hour's worth, hope
some of ye like it.

A masterly example of how mixing should be done!
Check it out people.

I only heard 15 minutes of it and I can already tell this
mix rawks, I'm going to transfer it to my iPod now and
listen to it while I'm enjoying this beautiful weather.

Have you been working with loops on this one?

offline deepspace9mm from filth on 2005-09-08 04:54 [#01717551]
Points: 6846 Status: Addict

Yeah, a few bits of the mix are just cut-up loops, at least
partially anyway. I tried to drop stuff in and out quite
quickly, mess around and see what fits together.

already quite sure that this is one of the mixes of
'05.

you are good with the computer and wavelab

Absolutely mind blowing mix!

One of the best mixes I've ever heard (no sweet-talk, just
my honest opinion).
Amazing how you managed to mix all these different genres
into a high-powered solid dynamic mix.

This mix reminded me of about 13 years ago when I listened a
lot to the House Party mixes. (especially nr5) Where all
those songs make up a whole.

I guess this mix took you a while to create eh?
What software did you use to mix this, create the loops and
fuck up some songs?

This mix has put mine completely to shame.
The man has put in a monumental effort and it's paid off.

I think this is a case of Alex turning round to me and
going

"You got served!"

To which I reply

"Oh it's ON!"

*starts doing the macarena*

It's going to be very tough trying to reach this level; let
alone beating it.

Ahhh, thANKS guys. It is always nice to hear good things and
stuff.

Aesthetics: Yeah, it took a damn long while to finish, maybe
3-4 months working on and off? (nothing like as impressive
as the live mixing some of y'alls do :) I mostly use wavelab
for mixing, looping, splicing etc, and a few effects in
goldwave. Fun but fucking frustrating, let me tell you.

Just finished listening... twas good, but the dnb and the
end realy got me going - specially the cut-up photek.

So next time i look forward to a more jungle/dnb set.....
my fave before electro. Still excellent mix.....

cripes! a quite spectacular mix! excellent! all the more
impressive for being created with wavelab and goldwave. I
use both of these quite a bit and it must be mindnumbingly
tricksy to do. they're not the easiest to use for something
like this.

*claps*

Aye, that's the one. I should probably have a DJ Name
or something to differentiate this stuff from my Noisy
Bollocks
, i dunno. Too late now, it's already on the
interneb.

In other news, i'm going to eat some toast, i might scramble
an egg too. Excitement!
