i think electronic musix had as much recognition in the
early 90's:

aphex's pirelli ad
lfo's lfo collosal succes
orbital, björk, etc...

i don't think it's really more popular now it's just
included in radio/mtv music way more...

i DONT SEE AARONS MUSIC only as funny or danceable to go
crazy for a while... I see that, and I enjoy that, but also
enjoy it in other ways, cos certain works of him really move
me... in other ways... witboas, dollX3, HCCBU, giant alien
force, and now rossz are all works that really have other
values than just being crazy or dancey or funny.

HIS MUSIC can be emotional, deep, beautiful, melodic,
ambiental...
for example, listen to the last 4 tracks in witboas all in a
row

i don't know what it is but i just can't feel that..well,
there are some tracks that i could probably find interesting
in a more subtle way, but generally it's just not my thing
anymore..i would probably appreciate him more if he would
try something else for a change, im not saying he must as
obviously that's what he enjoys and people like, but it just
doesn't do it for me. maybe he could also change his
appearence or something..start wearing a suit..yeah!

Well, thats what he does. You can hear it in the rigidness
of the programming. It has no groove. Its just different
sounding bang tut crank bang tut grok bong clank infinity. I
wouldn't call it tallent, so much as a bunch of samples put
together into a formula. It kinda bugs me that so many
people are in awe of such a predictable programming trick.

Its not note bashing. Its programming. He just knows what
kind of sounds to put one after another. But its always the
same. He has skill, but nothing that a few days sitting in
front of a computer high on crack can't do for anyone else.

i remember reading that interview where he said that at one
point he would stay up all night doing crack, sleep a couple
of hours and then get up and write some tracks until he felt
like he did when he was doing the crack.

maybe thats why i'm not so into him...i've never done
crack.

i need to do some crack.

He doesn't do it anymore. Only Shitfuckers was written on
crack (and it's arguably his noisiest, nastiest release to
date).

If you're just listening to it at home by yourself it's not
gonna be half as good as if it's on a massive PA, in a club
at 2 in the morning, drunk as a skunk in the middle of a
mosh pit.

Snares is just doing what Mu-ziq and RDJ were doing ten
years ago. He's way too derivative. His stuff sounds like
the sort of stuff people post on this forum. 1/5.
