I've bought a lot of music on amazon a long time ago and only maybe 2 things at warpmart. Of course you can save shipping on multiple items that don't have to be the same label (or even music related) at amazon. Still, ebay is the cheapest place for ANYTHING due to competition among sellers.

neither, although if i could afford to "purchase" music, i suppose i would go amazon cuz i've already done a lot of researching for old rare out of print hard to find stuff and they have it all.

Warpmart is good for exclusives and I tend to buy around 80% of my IDM related purchases there.
I do occassionally buy records from Amazon, but mainly books and videogames.

Almost all the music I wanted to buy wasn't available in regular music stores unless it was special ordered (I did special order 2 cds from some normal music store once and I think the employees listened to it since they commented on its weirdness. I think it was feed me weird things.) Amazon had those handy song excerpts too, even on fairly obscure items. The thing that amazon rocks in is reviews and the "if you're interested in this, you might also like" etc suggestions based on what people have bought in addition to that item. But with music reviews don't help much and are are actually usually misleading (music is largely subjective). But for books and stuff, the reviews are a goldmine, often as interesting as the book itself.

i used to order from both, amazon and warpmart a lot, but lately i do it very rarely..usually only when it's warp material, and i haven't used amazon in surely 6 months. i prefer boomkat and ab-cd..those two are my favourite! especially ab-cd!

amazon is where i get most of my cds... either amazon.fr, amazon.com, or caiman_amerique (through amazon.fr - caiman is the cheapest by far (often half price or even less compared to the prices everywhere else) and they work pretty well).
warpmart can get you some freebies, but they're not cheaper and you have to deal with the british post (which is far too unreliable)... i think i've made three orders with them so far, for Ultravisitor, Spokes and i don't remember which other one (along with Seefeel by Succour). each time it was because it included a special bonus CD or something like that.
also, you can get almost everything with amazon, whereas warpmart is "specialized" - maybe less of 5% of what i buy lately would be on warpmart i guess...

Currently I have cujo coming from there!

yes, giginger, i have just implemented the eBay link thingy. if you use the links to buy stuff from ebay, it'll gain xltronic. but as always, ignore the layout, placement and other attributes as this will CHANGE with the new site. i have to roll out certain features on the site for beta-testing......

I spend too much time scanning the discog because I thought it was only on that 1 release but it's now on all of them :D
If I bookmark those actual links as my eBay links will that benefit xltronic? I go to eBay quite a bit and bid a lot too. If it will help then I'll do it :)

yes, i guess so! according to the affiliate program xltronic will receieve $0.1 USD for each bid, if you enter the site using those links.
i'm currently exploring the benefits and possibilities, so i will keep you updated how this is working, gotta enhance it a bit further.
future eBay links will be positioned seamlessly into the layout.

I buy a lot of secondhand records through Amazon. you buy stuff from independent sellers who sell through Amazon but all payments go through Amazon - so if anything goes wrong you have all the same guarantees if you bought from Amazon itself.
you can find some stuff dirtcheap there.

Amazon has patented one click buying technology. That means that any website that offers a one-click buying method pays royalties to Amazon.
