Well it's not!!!!!!! Grant had them sitting around for years after giving away the initial bunch to the relevent parties. They (the recent giveaways) were given to people who's Analord binder order was paid for but not delivered, by way of compensation/thanks for putting up with the delay/sorry for the inconvenience/etc. There is no planned release on CD or vinyl. The 12" test press copies that people have are still rare as buggery. !!!!!! |

As I already said... there are no plans for an ab5 release, vinyl or cd. This is from the best source (and obviously I don't mean myself). "some people getting it with warp orders" No one at warp sent anyone an ab5. rephlex sent some out simply because Grant was doing something cool for random people who had probs with their analord binder orders. they were not new pressings of ab5; they were extras from the original set of test pressings that had been gathering dust for 10 years. |

if thats true, if they gave them out to orders that didn't initially ship out right away...i should have one myself, but i don't...even so, i could careless that HAB 1&2 and ABB5 could be releaseed in either format b/c i've heard them both, and i'd rather hear something new. but if afx/aphex or whatever the fuck he's calling himself these days keeps putting out this lame acid slow shit i could give to fucks...go back to ambient or mental drum and bass...or something fucking crazy. if i wanted to hear slow repeating garbage i could just go buy some chemical brothers release and stick a thumb up my arse |
