To be fair to Morientes he is being played as a loan forward
and Benitez likes the team to play very high up the pitch so
I think he is being crowded out and hasn't any support.
Plus I think his confidence is at an all time low.

spanish goalkeepers are usually bad at corners... cos in
spain we dont play so good in the corners (not as good as
english or german teams)

actually in european matches we use to receive many goals in
corners or faul kicks... and also we are shorter in average
than english or northern europeans

but on the other hand, spanish goalkeepers are good in the
one on one situation

reina was excellent in spain... I cant see him now

He's definitely one of the top three keepers in the
premiership with Peter Chec and Van der Sar

the worst thing about your group is that in 1/8 finals
barça could meet chelsea or liverpool.... I and I wouldnt
like that so soon

c'mon Liverpool against Real Betis!

I'd love for us to lose, but for chelsea to lose as well so
the moody blues go out whilst the reds march on

aha!

Fuck off...us lose??? Don't be a tit. We win and Chelsea
lose (which isn't going to happen) and Betis to beat Chelski
in the last game. That would be best.

Barca are looking the pick of the tornament though. I can't
wait until we knock them out :P

we'll win comfortably, the real betis keeper even said in an
interview with spanish press that he has envisioned Crouch
scoring past him, maybe twice.

haha, talk about defeatist!

that is absolutley false

I like liverpool cos it has spanish players, but also i
always liked liverpool ever since they won madrid in the
81´s ueropean cup

but this time i go with betis

also, I dont want chelsea to end up seconds... I dont want
them again in 1/8 finals... I fear them more than liverpool

liverpool won the cup last year and it was great... but even
so, I still fear chelsea, milan, juve and bayer more than
this liverpool.... which is quite a flat team

my opinion

also i think, that eventhough barça plays nice... we are
very vulnerable... teams make us goals... better defeding
teams like chelsea or liverpool are very dangerous for us

haha you are right. Liverpool are far from being at the
level of the other teams you mention, however we seem to
constantly prove our worth in Europe.

gerrard, kewel... all good players

The Italian sides are looking very strong. Barca also are
looking very good. Real don't look strong enough any more.
I think Lyon may get to the semi finals, they are looking
very good. Chelsea still don't look an outstanding side in
Europe. Obviously it would be wrong to write the champions
off...so Liverpool are my outsiders.

lisboa last match... and that is not an easy field

win

bremen

villareal
benfica

milan
psv

these are the top 16 this year... some are missing here
(manchester, oporto...) but it seems like all the important
names are there

it will be a tough fight also in the first leg (1/8 finals)
were we could even see a barça chelsea again... or a munich

No way. Chelsea aren't playing brilliantly at the moment.
Barça will completely outclass them like last years first
leg except this time they will make sure they get the job
done.
