San Andreas WTF!!!

Fuck! Why do they put the stupid rv flying missions in
those games. Every single game has at least one. WTF. Do
they think flying into buildings and not having a chance in
hell at hitting your targets is supposed to be fun? I have
been following around the same stupid car for a half hour
not being able to hit it because my plane somehow does a
barrel roll while its still on the ground. Anyone know a
cheat for passing a level without having to do it? Cause I
am about ready to throw the dvd out the window so I don't
have to play it anymore.

are you on a pc?

anyway, use the cheat to slow the game down and it'll be
somewhat easier, just type 'slowitdown' if yer on a pc.

yeah... I know that one... but its still practically
impossible to control. I finally destroyed the last one, but
my plane took way too much damage from buildings and
bullets, and it blew up. >:(

Uhm, try to fly with W,S and left- and rightarrow instead of
Q and E, only use Q and E when you want a quick turn on the
ground.

The second time I tried this level I succeed. I needed about
10 times on the PS2 though.

thrrowing it out of the window rreally is the only option it
seems.

This mission is optional, unless you are going towards your
100% goal. Zero missions aside from the first one i think
are not required to advance the story

much easier with a controller, most non fps-games on pc are.

Take Two is currently being investigated as to whether sex
related minigames were put into the code (those that would
be worthy of an Adults Only Rating) because of a recent Mod
which has them. If it's existing code, their in trouble. It
could be all Mod code though.

yeah that would be dastardly.

surely you can show a depiction of people getting shot, but
GOD FORBID there should be SEX involved!

Hahaha, don't make me laugh.

Have you tried the RC mission where you have to shoot them
out of the air on Zero's roof?

Well, it took me more than 15 times on PS2 and 1 try on PC.

The mouse/keyboard combination beats a controller in most
circumstances.

flying round san fierro blowing up vans with a remote
control bi-plane is all good fun, you're missing out!

offline Taxidermist from Black Grass on 2005-07-10 13:17 [#01658400]

yeah, it should be that way, but dogfighting with
skyscrapers ain't my idea of fun. Maybe if they moved.

Has anyone played in the banshees in halo? Thats a good
interface for flying in a game. It makes dogfighting so much
fun.

I havn't gotten to any flying part yet. One time though,
when I went to that girl who says "women don't drive, that's
what men are for" and robs the town (gas station, plus 4
other places).. anyway we both got on a bike and then some
dude with a bat came and hit us both off. After I killed
him, that girl was still lying on the ground face up on the
ground, only her head stayed fixed on where I moved and she
kept talking the dialogue of the cut scene. I couldn't move
her so left on the bike by myself and it prompted me to go
back because I left her. After about 3 minutes of wandering
around town I came back and she was waiting for me on the
motorcycle.

I JUST did those stupid 'Zero' missions in san fiero
yesterday, took me like 8 tries and I HATED EVERY FUCKING
SECOND OF IT.

"Do they think flying into buildings and not having a chance
in hell at hitting your targets is supposed to be fun?"

That is exactly what I kept saying to my roomate. Last time
I checked, RC planes can't lift off the ground with a
gatling gun in tow. Not to mention the fact that you have no
idea where you (Carl) are the whole time, so I guess
Rockstar expects me to believe that one can fly an RC plane
without even being able to see it. Horrible.

One thing I hate is having to travel through miles of
countryside just to save your game. There should also
definately be a "radio always off" option. Or maybe a "radio
will always be the same station you had it set to (including
off, and even if you get into a new car)".

there is....

radio off = turn 'radio' all the way down in 'audio setup'
radio memory = turn 'radio auto-tune' on in 'audio setup'.

on one mission, you fly to a point over the sea, and it
takes you to liberty city, marco's bistro - so you can take
out the forelli gang.

i tried this "ultimate mod" for san andreas, was supposed to
make 95% of the cars including bikes mod-able in the shop,
added a bunch of new car colors, and supposedly more
realistic car physics... but it slowed th game down to like
8 frames per second so I uninstalled that shit. bit of a
downer.

This really is fucking laughable!

Best-selling game Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas is being
investigated in the US over reports that it contains
sexually explicit mini-games hidden in its code.

This seems to be more of a problem than all the violence in
the game!

Stupid US(ESRB) government.

it is hidden existing code though

from gamespot

i think things like hidden code are neat (my friend once
found an incredibly depressing writing about girls in a text
file in a playstation game), but rockstar is pretty screwed
on this one

people have been out to get this game from day one
