In my stoned bordem on this wonderful night, I went through my old, old posts on various forums from a few years back. my God, did I cringe. What appalling, embarassing, pieces of shit I used to write (not that I have improved, but the cringeworthy factor has at least, decreased a little.) I mean, I'm surprised I wasn't treated more harshly or just plain old banned. It's like watching yourself on film (which I hate doing) it its level of pain. I seem to remember the first few posts here of mine being about how crappy Autechre was and how electronic musicians should be classically trained, or something to that effect..dear me. Do you ever read up on stuff you've written from a few years back? Is it that bad? |
