I'd pay a membership... I'd like to see project x. We all
talk about other artists just as much on this board if not
more... and the qualitt of the sites, as we know will be
fantastic. I'm sure Phobe will let us know what we'd get for
the membership nearer the time. I think he's just getting an
idea.

just another idea:
how about doing some sales at ebay?
if everyone put's something on sale on ebay he doesn't need
anymore and gives all benefits to aphextwin.nu we'll collect
a huge amount of money...

what do you think?

i'd contribute if pushed there aren't that many good sites
out there and to keep a decent one going well, it has to be
done.

why not try and get adspace for the people we all chat about
anyway and somehow get links with
warp/rephlex/skam/fatcat/smallfish etc. so they contrubute
to the site income? That may be an avenue you've already
explored so apologies if i'm being thick.

I would be willing to pay a fee if you provided a comunity
like Cycosmos used to be like. E-Mail address, Chat rooms,
message board, competitions and give aways, cheap stuff.

I appreciate getting something for nothing and the internet
has become full of loads of free things. If I am paying for
something I want something new and big!

why don't we all email richard d james and demand that he
gives us some money or we'll kidnap his mother and he won't
be able to sample her EVER again! he would be obliged to
cough up some moolah -- and tell i EXPECT an autographed
mask as used in the come to daddy video or i'll duff him up
good and proper, make no mistake

FROM THE POOL:
RESULTS SO FAR:

Would you be willing to donate money for any future
activities (like making "Project X" possible)?
Yes (29)
No (50)
------------------------------------------------
1/3 OF US WOULD PAY (I voted no, but i changed my mind)
we are about 470 members now
but in a few months we will surely be about 600 and who
knows if we will ever reach 1000 I bet that wont be too far
from now.
if we are 600 and 1/3 pays then we have 200 supporters...
would that be enough?

Why not keep it the way it is and merge the site with Joyrex
so the cost is shared and maybe place a small
advertisement(Warp, Reflex) on the website so the cost will
be payed? After all, the website inspires people to buy
records. I don't need fancy stuff like pictures and MP3s, I
just like to view news and post messages. I also believe
that the other artists would like their own website instead
of being pushed in one corner....

I only drop by here twice a week or so, but have paid a bit.
If there was more informaton on releases / live dates / dj
sets streamed from the site and other junk I would be
prepared to pay...

Hi, I'm Swedish and have little or no sense of humour. I pay
top whack for a site the likes of which that others in the
21st Century might have for free or mere pence. I am the
Guardian of what USed to be known as IDM. Times
change, I just change Admin jobs.

Who am I?
